I went to my local gas station today( it's had multiple different owners throughout the years), and they put out a whole knife case. I love collecting knives and always carry one on me for self-protection due t9 having knives pulled on me before and watching someone get stabbed before. Anyways, i saw them, and the one i wanted was 20 dollars. I then remembered i had about 100 dollars in my bank account and decided against it so i can get Stellar Blade instead.

Hello , i'm French born and i even find the translation a bit watered down, for example in the end the writer said "Des hommes biberonnés aux patriarcat" (something like that) and it was translate by "Fed by patriarchy"; the French version is so much more condescending as "biberonné" means baby bottle fed etc, first time i heard about this guy and i didn't even know ign France even existed before all the (legit) complaints about him. 🙂

I've just read the modified review of fhe demo and the apologies and explanations are very very laughable at least and genuinely hypocritical; the usual "things have been taken out of context and misinterpreted wrongly litteraly" but they weren't any sub context or hidden humour etc at all, ign France even doubled it down with other bs about women taking their life or being beaten because they can't please men who stick to videogames design of feminity which is in reality "impossible" (it's what he said). (Personnaly, i know that most of men are very very inclined to date/have X with girls under their own league, as we easily find "cute - pretty - ok" as most are already happy to get a girlfriend, so the "men want perfect features or they will beat you"...came from a typical "i'm never wrong, i never admit, i never apologise type of guy" The problem with the unedited versin was that the writer get a lot of things wrong, like about the character designer, and first of all about the character Eve herself as she is modelled from a real model with BIGGER BREAST as the devellopers smallered them in the game...and Now in the modified version as super hypocritical as they are, they are trying to change completely what they (supposed to) meant and try to look like they care about the real life model by saying that the bad chara design doesn't reflect her real beauty by adding superficials things on her...(Maybe the soft manga look but why complaining here and not the same in FF XV faces for example) It is just straight lies 😆

Par contre l'article original n'est pas disponible. Dans ce premier texte il y'avaient trois principals points erronnés rajouté inutilement qui insultait gratuitement le manager du jeu, je peux retrouver l'exact texte mais de mémoire c'était genre "Ouai le physique irréaliste de Eve a été créer par un homme qui n'a sûrement jamais "vu" de femme de sa vie" (genre un gros puceau misogine) Déjà, la mannequin qui a servi à la capture existe bien merci pour elle et de ne pas nier son existence juste juste parceque beaucoup de monde l'a trouverai "belle"...en plus chacun ses goûts et perso c'est pas du tout mon délire mais si des gens aiment les grosses poitrines c'est leurs droits et paradoxalement la mannequin a eu sa poitrine amoindri dans le jeu. Le manager est mariée à une des graphistes et elle est plutôt jolie (je pense pour un gros pourcentage de gens) Elle est peut être même l'instigatrice de beaucoup de points artistique du personnage.

As a french guy, I'm not that suprised. Many french journalists tend to share unfiltered thoughts in their critics. There is a common thought telling that critics are subjectives allowing the people who write to give their opinion as if It was revealed truth. I personally disagree but, changes take time. I haven't read the french IGN review or that game yet, but whenever I read this type of critic somewhere, I just ignore It. In France, we are not used to making a fuss about rude comments, except for obvious racism or sexism. Things started to change thought but we aren't quite there yet.

I preordered the digital deluxe version as soon as i was able. Played the demo the other day. Its beautiful, its gorgeous, great gameplay. Only 2 nits i would like to pick: 1. The ponytail. (Too long hut i am thankful for the foresight they had to put in the option to shorten it without having to go to an in game barber that only becomes available halfway through the game) 2. Would prefer a simpler fight system. (Due entirely to my preference to drink while gaming for long periods on games like this. And complex battle systems don’t mesh well with drunk guy fingers) (So ultimately my nitpicks are entirely my own fault. And this game really truly is great and i will greatly enjoy it when it finally comes out.) Any and all backlash or criticism that any western entity wishes to sling its way should be IGNORED!

I'm not too terribly interested in this game as a new, full priced product. A little bit because part of the marketing feels unnecessarily desperate and sweaty but mostly because the overall gameplay doesn't jive with me. It definitely looks and runs well enough and I can certainly appreciate what they're going for from a gameplay standpoint but it's not for me PERSONALLY at a full, new game price point. (though objectively it is in fact well made enough to actually justify that $70 price tag unlike a fair amount of new games that have the audacity to charge that much without actually looking/running like a new, AAA game should)

i always say "let the market decide" not politics or journalists. Considering issues caused by IGN licensees, it seems they have very little control over them, and i'd understand why IGN wants to separate themselves from IGN france. mcdonalds has strict rules that must be maintained at locations to retain their license, i'm guessing IGN doesn't have that style agreement.

All of these "journalist" outlets have been tanking, or in other words they've already been cancelled. They continue to stay afloat with outside revenue coming from people who ultimately are targeting western culture. They keep these places operational to try and make people believe their ideas are mainstream and that we're the odd ones out, but don't ever believe that, this garbage is wildly unpopular to the large majority of people. It's not just games, it's comic books, movies, shows, news media; they're all compromised, we just need to hold the line and continue telling them to go f**k themselves.
