Okay in his head he kinda did because he did have a game plan and that's the problem. Targeting a neighbor isnt really that bad of an idea. But still risky, if he spent time with her and already had DNA inside her apartment. So he can say he was there before that's why there was his hair on her. Because sometimes I have random peoples hairs on me, personally speaking.
@Mali84995 жыл бұрын
His idea for not cleaning up on the body. His idea was to put the rest at the dump. Once it's at the dump evidence is hard to collect but it's possible to retrieve the body. This disposing of evidence was suppose to be at the land field. He thought he was alot smarterthan other people and the department. Doing an interview was in a way kinda smart. Because he was her friend if he just disappeared he would of looked suspicious. So he felt an interview would prove his innocent incase he was in court or the police just looked it over or hoping they would.
@Mali84995 жыл бұрын

It is actually a calculated technique meant to directly confront a suspect and make them so uncomfortable with direct eye contact that they look away, giving the interrogator control of the interview. When this officer does it, the suspect's neck roll into staring the officer full in face is so eerie that it is the officer that almost immediately breaks eye contact, and this interview is used as an extremely rare example of that interrogation technique not only failing, but backfiring, as the interrogator seems to lose any steam he was building, and seems to want to gtfo.

This case is especially disturbing for me because I went to high school with Stephen McDaniel. I played violin in the orchestra with him. He was a little weird, but I never dreamed he was capable of something like this. Now I feel like I can't trust anyone.
@arock74624 жыл бұрын
Sadly, you can't.
@foxman1054 жыл бұрын
The person you played the violin with was different than the guy who commited the murder. You don't know what went through his head ever since you lost contact with him. People constantly change in their head. It's likely that the guy you knew wasn't a murderer, but he grew to become one. What led him to that? Hard to tell, only he knows ultimately. It's possible that given different stimuli he'd still be a harmless weirdo. Not trusting anybody is a very cynical and way of life that will ultimately lead to your own deterrioration and misery. Like with everything, there's a healthy medium.
