LYRICS:
Sitting in my room
Crying like a fuckin’ tool
I’ve tried everything
What else could I possibly do?!
You got me pulling out my pubes.
You got me pulling out my pubes.
You got me pulling out my pubes.
Tryin to get back to you!
Pullin’ and pullin’,
And fuckin’ plucking’
Don’t tell me that I’m pullin’ out my pubes
For fuckin’ nothing!
Like..
She loves me!
(She loves me not)
She loves me!
(She loves me not)
She loves me!
(She loves me not)
She loves me!
(She loves me not)
I’ve got my pubes in the palm of my hand.
I threw them up into the breeze.
And wherever they may land
Will lead me to my destiny!
You got me pulling out my pubes.
You got me pulling out my pubes.
You got me pulling out my pubes.
Tryin to get back to you!
Pullin’ and pullin’,
And fuckin’’ plucking’
Don’t tell me that I’m pullin’ out my pubes
For fuckin’ nothing!
I put my hands to my face,
Cried so hard that I couldn’t breathe.
Forgot my pubes were still in my hands,
Inhaled them deep into my lungs.
I started choking on my pubes,
Right in front of you and your new dude.
I puked them out all over your dress.
…and the rest is history I guess!
Pullin’ and pullin’,
And fuckin’ plucking’
Don’t tell me that I’m pullin’ out my pubes
For fuckin’ nothing!
Like..
She loves me!
(She loves me not)
She loves me!
(She loves me not)
She loves me!
(She loves me not)
She loves me!
(She loves me not)
My pubes are in God’s hands!

My brother had a genetic disorder that prevented his body's ability to develop pubes. He was completely pubeless. Before he succumbed to the disease two days ago he listened to this song and cried. He told me for the first time in his life, he felt like he had pubes. We played it on repeat until he passed away with a smile on his face. I'll forever be grateful to the Sticky Sweethearts for making his final moments so joyful.

This is beautiful. May your brother rest in peace. I'm afflicted with the opposite genetic disorder which causes me to grow an ungodly amount of pubes. I've got plenty to spare. I'd love to donate a full bush's worth of pubes to your brother so that you guys can have an open casket funeral for your brother, and he can be laid to rest while having the pubes he always longed for.

Real talk: my mom has had a rough couple of months (fractured her spine and has had to temporarily give up independent living while she heals) and has been pretty down lately. I played this for her today and we both laughed SO much and so hard (I literally pissed myself a little bit from how hard I was laughing). It was absolutely what we needed, and this song continues to bring me great joy. When I left today, I told her “remember: your pubes are in God’s hands now” and we lost it all over again. Genuinely, thank you for these (especially ones from The Sticky Sweethearts)-they have brought a lot of laughs when they were DESPERATELY needed 💜

I became extremely depressed, and wandered into a dark place mentally. But just as I felt I was reaching the end, the radio played me a gem by the sticky sweethearts and I felt something amazing. I'm very fortunate to have a musical family who played The Sticky Sweethearts when I was younger as they were a key part of my childhood. While I don't always listen to them nowadays, I still play them every now and again and this shit never gets old. Their songs are truly timeless classics.

The Sticky’s are so down to earth, they turned down Zemeckis when he tried to buy the song for the McFly parent’s first dance in Back to the Future. “We are not sell outs, only pull outs” and dropped the mic.

Antoine Jerkovsky, the main singer of Sticky Sweethearts told a story on how he was inspired to write the song. He went to the Motown headquarters and forgot to knock on the door of the vice president of the label and walked in on him pulling out his pubes. He asked him SIR, WHAT ARE YOU DOING and the annoyed vice president of Motown said WHAT DO YOU FUCKING THINK I'M DOING, I'M PULLING OUT MY PUBES. 'The melody in the way he said these words had struck me so hard, I knew I had to go to the record studio immediately. And as the lyrics say, the rest is history'.

My grandfather was a sailor, he bought this record in Hamburg in 1959, smuggled it into the Warsaw Pact country, was arrested and jailed 5 years for this. Yet he came out of prison whistling The Sticky Sweethearts!

True revolutionaries in their very conservative times, The Sticky Sweethearts were truly visionary in their proud proclamation of male manscaping. What many fail to realize is that they indirectly led to the tidying of lady's downstairs areas, after a mistaken vinyl record was dusted off at Hugh Heffner's mansion one slow evening and gave the famous magnate an idea for his centerfolds.

Little was known about this sleeper hit by The Sticky Sweethearts, but when we interviewed leading man: Marky Rivers, he had this to say "The boys and me were sat around the studio during a power outage, waiting to record I Glued My Balls to My Butthole Again, so we all got to talking, and then, Davey- our manager- Davey DeWine, he comes out with this story about the most beautiful girl he ever did see, and how he plucked up the guts to talk to the girl one day." Rivers later confirmed that DeWine did indeed pluck each one of his pubes that evening, further stating that the combined stress of the act and waiting on - who would later be confirmed as DeWine's wife: Pasha DeWine - was what caused the manager's alopecia in his early twenties. Famed now for his clean cut looks and a sheen that could blind anyone on a sunny day, the younger DeWine was known to have thick black hair.

Amazing how this band predicted so many things, who would of thought pulling pubes would become the norm, just like their other classics, "just dogging in the car park", "firey, but mostly peaceful", "300lb and feeling fine", and of course the classic "an*l isn't just birth control" the true Nostradamus of their days.
