For you, it’s fun, it’s adventure. For many Alaskans and others living in remote locations difficult to supply and tend to any other way, it’s a way of life. Dearly love the adventure, but learning about the life would be awesome as well.
@ExperimentalAircraftChannel4 жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree with you more. This is the method, the platform, the environment but more hobby than way of life to live in the backcountry. I welcome that adventure and to be able to capture that and share as well. Maybe one day I will be given that opportunity as well. For now... I take them as they come to me and I couldn't pass up this offer. Thank you for taking the time to watch and support here. :-)

You were wise to accept that invitation. Your channel is great. There are many in this genre that are, also, but few playlists go from a lovely woman showing how old-school craftsmanship works to keep a niche business going to playing in the desert with some of the coolest toys in existence. Hats off to Trent for showing what the smartest pilot in the room looks like having fun.

As usual, great video, gotta love the capabilities of those pilots and airplanes. Collecting landings in amazing places like others collect shells on a beach. Something only a few will get to experience.

Very nice video. You blokes in good old 'Merica really do live the dream. All those flying cowboys (and the likes of you, Brian) are filled with a real appreciation of where you live and what you do and you want to share it with others. This is what inspires us, moreso than the tallents you also clearly have. I'm working on a reciprocity between you all and us in South Africa, if you're all interested..... Keep enjoying what God has given us. Reid.

Hey Reid! Thank you for the thoughtful and supportive comments. I appreciate YOU! Yes.... passion runs deep here and sharing it is now become a way of life. And I am still in the "building" phase and barely flying. So opportunities like this are truly a gift in my eyes. What is going on with you an SA? Feel free to send me a PM or email. Thanks!

do STOL engines have spark arrestors on them like off road vehicles?

I do not believe so. Most spark arrestors exist to keep from lighting the woods on fire on Off Road Vehicles correct? Thanks for chiming in here and Thank You for watching!

Bryan, another great vid with the Cowboys. Trent didn’t try and steal the frame work and I’m surprised about that? Love the water skiing landing and glad to see he checked out his terrain before attempting such a landing. I see you took down the funding and I was going to send you more to help cover the cost of this adventure. Times are tough during this pandemic and with three girls it’s going to get tougher. Take care, fly safe and fly often B!

Kevin now has a 360 camera of course. This... was not planned at all. More like... "Get out here and go flying." So I booked a ticket and jumped out there. I didn't know what to expect or have a plan. If I knew more about where and when... I could build a better story for you and with more people/cameras involved. Surround sound! Sweet! I was editing with earbuds! I bet that is a whole other level with some subs! Thank you for watching.
Came here from other Flying Cowboys channels expecting a flying video and instead get an ear-bashing of car noises and random transmission shifts with bad cuts and zooms. Airplanes make beautiful sound, use that instead of dubbing in car sounds...

Hah! Well... Ironically Mike Patey LOVED IT...so, there is that. Sorry to disappoint. Catch you next time then. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
