The Story of Gamaka Box First Ever Comprehensive Indian Music Notation Invented by Ramesh Vinayakam

Ramesh Vinayakam Invented and designed a comprehensive notation sysytem for Indian classical music against all odds. In a history of many centuries raga music was never notated until the 19th century which too was only a skeletal one, that which did not truly represent the music that it is. This absence of a true notation system was identified as early as 1890's - Subbarama Dikshitar's Sangita Sampradaya Pradarshini showcases this , The great composer and musicologist made the first step in finding symbols for gamakas.
Ramesh Vinayakam's Gamaka Box System is the First and Foremost Comprehensive system of Notation that notates the mysterious gamakas and ragas for the first time in history that de mystifies them tothe extent that music becomes totally accessible for every one.
This documentary gives a glimpse of the ground breaking effect of Gamaka Box Notation showcasing that even foreigners and also special people will be able to perform and practice Indian raga music easily.

Mr.vinayagam, there is no one in chennai supporting quality music.only kutthu pattu is every where musicians making crores of rupees. Tamilnadu has gone to dogs long time back.Fate is so cruel.

he is the most knowledgable amongst current music directors. Thats why the tamil film industry is struggling to use him properly. Instead they prefer garbage from the likes of Anirudh, Harris Jebaraj, GVP etc
