Looks like your picture of Jeremy Werner is actually a picture of Sam Sheffer

It's amazing how long they worked at Apple but learnt practically nothing.

Exactly what Apple teaches. Sell overmarketed overpriced shit.

i mean the AI Pin's hardware has been praised to be very high quality. But other than that, there doesn't seem to be much practical use of the product (for now)

@@jcxmej 😂 truth. It was marketed very well before people actually got their hands on the device

They can pivot to professional settings for the product if it doesn't land for general consumption. Medical, military, industrial etc where people can't use phones. It's most definitely not a Theranos, it's just limited by current AI capability gaps and, potentially, locked down infrastructure from smartphone companies hence the lack of integration so far.

Yes indeed

It was clear what Steve Jobs and Apple brought to the table. We could clearly see that they solved a problem when the iPhone was announced. What problem is Humane solving with the pin? They could have simply reimagined the phone’s user interface but they pulled a project so far from the future that it fell apart. Great tech isn’t cool, great tech is practical.

Yup. I don't see it being any different than a watch to me.

it's pointless unless it connects to your phone .

yeah or eventually replace it. But it's very far off from this

Maybe we don't need to invent an "all new form factor" every two years?
@DarkModeDigest7 ай бұрын
I respectfully disagree. We need people like this to push the world forward. These are the same types of people that gave us Apple, Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, Uber, etc 🙂

@@DarkModeDigest Hmm, yeah. Still, some things could be “just an app”

They could. In fact I generally don’t see a good case for their product. Our phones can pretty much do everything it does but better. However, I do appreciate the founders’ intent

Even if the humane pins all functions worked perfectly, it still is a dumb ass product.
@Rollexm6 ай бұрын
There is something there. Especially with the projector but unfortunately it overheats after multiple uses. The idea sounds good on paper, just not as practical when brought to life. Why the phone will continue to win for a long time.

I appreciate their intent. But our phones are just too good

Comparing Humane to a fraud case though. Sheesh. Edit: Keep in mind that almighty Apple has had a few failed products throughout their history too and no one is comparing them to Theranos ffs 😅
@DarkModeDigest6 ай бұрын
Hey I totally understand your feeling here. I'm not necessarily comparing Humane to fraud... more so comparing Humane to another controversial startup that had similar attributes-raised hundreds of millions of dollars, inflated valuation, poor product that didn't justify the means. I mentioned this in another comment but again, I actually praise Humane's founders Imran and Bethany for their bold attempt at redefining personal computing (showcased towards the end of my video). It's founders like these that brought us the most innovative companies today (Apple, Tesla, Google, Meta, Nvidia, Microsoft, OpenAI, etc). This is just v1 of Humane's story and they've got a long way to go. All big success always started from failures. To your last comment about Apple vs Theranos: It's different here because Apple was already a well-established publically-traded company when Theranos got started (Theranos was a young startup out there raising money). No one compares them because its apple vs oranges here. I say all this with respect ❤

This channel is toxic. I’m all for exposes but you’re literally calling people criminals that are really trying to do something hard, build a business.

Thank you for your feedback ❤ but if I may... I'm not calling them criminals... i was comparing another controversial startup to Humane because they shared similar characteristics of having raised a ton of money with an inflated valuation and a lackluster product that doesn't justify for it. At the end, I actually praise the founders Imran and Bethany for their bold attempt at redefining personal computing. We need founders like these to push the world forward. These are the same people that brought us Apple, Meta, Google, Nvidia, Tesla, etc... Even if v1 of your product sucks, it doesn't define you or your company. It's what you do after and how you handle the criticism that does.
