Hope you enjoy this one everyone! Those from the UK like me may not have grown up with this game show (although I do believe it was broadcast here in the UK), so if you've never watched Knights and Warriors before, you're in for a treat! Thanks for all your support and please subscribe to the channel. Thanks all! 😄

Another great interesting and detailed video! I recall this being listed in a TV magazine in the UK, I believe on one of the Sky channels. As a Gladiators and American Gladiators fan I was very keen to see it, but was unable to until now so thanks a bunch for covering this! 👍 These themed Gladiators "spinoff" series are fascinating. One that's elusive, I don't know if you recall, was called Ice Warriors on ITV - billed as a "Gladiators on ice", it had quite similar physical competitions, this time on an ice rink and with a kind of heavy fantasy theming where the "Ice Warriors" boasted attribute ratings such as "Magic - 4 gems, Cunning - 7 diamonds", or similar. And like Knights & Warriors, it didn't take off, and there is very little footage available online, as far as I can find. But those were great times to be a bloodthirsty child with a TV

Yeah I remember Ice Warriors but not Knights and warriors [But my family never had SKY]

I absolutely remember Ice Warriors yea! I have been trying to find footage of it to be able to make a video about the show, but as you say it is very elusive. Perhaps one day it will surface!

I remember Ice Warriors. I didn’t mind it, once I overlooked the weirdness and just concentrated on the live action. I’ve tried looking for footage myself, to no avail. Maybe ITV Archive will kindly lend the footage if it is to be used for creating a documentary. It’s not as if it’ll be redistributed in its entirety.

I remember watching Ice Warriors on Challenge TV 2004/05, I enjoyed it’s fast paced action including some funny and serious wipeouts. Whilst it wasn’t successful I would rather watch a Gladiators on Ice show than dancing on ice.

This is definitely a 'We've got Gladiators at home' situation.

I love how you're bringing these barely known shows into the spotlight. I swear I only know half the shows you've covered, you keep introducing me to old shows I should have known, im old, was born in 83. But I missed most of them somehow. Not that you're hard up for content, but have you thought about covering old obscure 80s/90s animation as well? Might bring in more subscribers, you know how us nerds are and our need for nostalgia.

Glad you're enjoying the videos! I have a few old animations on my list, one from the early 90s that I'm thinking about covering very soon on the channel. Always looking for more recommendations, suggestions and requests for future videos so do let me know! :)

Thank you so much! I was lucky enough to have Sky from a very young age and always vaguely remember a USA black-themed Gladiators-esque show which I used to watch on Sky just before I got into Gladiators on ITV. I could never remember enough detail to pinpoint the name but now you've done the job for me 👏🏽

I didn’t know about this programme, but I would have loved it as a kid in the 90s. Good documentary, as ever.

I remember this show, but I think it was on a local L.A. network, more than a network show (KCAL Channel 9, I think). If not strictly L.A., then it was syndication only. It also on Saturday mornings like a kids show instead of prime time like American Gladiators. It's on Tubi now (at least in the U.S.). Lady Battleaxe is Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Bieste from Glee, among many other roles).

I'm an American, born in 1982. I have precisely no recollection of this show. It definitely looks like an American show from the early 90s, though. Lol. 🤷♂️
