This has insane amounts of details I never even knew. I totally thought the story about Miyamoto looking at his garden and thinking about ants was true, and there's so many more details you put in that explain why the release dates are what they are. A little constructive criticism: I totally get mispronunciations, but in a video where you're going to be saying a lot of Japanese names, I would google how to say them beforehand, or find an interview or something and hear how they say it. (One tip is that all the vowels in Japanese sound the same as in Spanish, every time.) But that's just about my only gripe for the whole video, and I'm really glad you put together all this information. Pikmin has been one of my favorite games since I was single-digits. Thanks :)

It is very much possible that Louie ate the golden pikpik carrots, and the carrots were meant to be shipped to Koppai. This means Louie may have caused a 10100 poko debt for the company, but also almost caused the extinction of an entire species. Not only that, but also hinders the pikmin 3 leaders by stealing all their juice and running away with it. There is also 1 more thing Louie has done in pikmin 2, but it is at the absolute end of the game, even after you repay debt. (Spoilers for pikmin 2 post-game final cave below) He also hacks into a titan dweevil's brain, and tries to kill olimar and the president on the final floor (14) of the Dream Den.

Just as a nitpick, the Japanese name Abe is pronounced differently to the English one. It's pronounced like 'Ah-beh' Same way Take is pronounced 'tah-keh'. Rule of thumb is that you should pronounce each vowel on its own.

Having grown up in this error, none of my friends had GameCubes. There was just way more competition during this era, at least in the US. That’s part of the reason why sales might have dipped.
