I was caught by surprise when I saw the title of this, since I have heard of Uayeb before (not this game, though). The Haab Calendar of the Maya had 365 days like our Gregorian Calender, except it was divided into 18 months of 20 days each (360 days), and then the five unlucky, inauspicious days that made up the 19th month of Uayeb. Unlucky/cursed sounds like it fits well with this game, lol.

I'm working on a follow-up video at the moment, hopefully that will be able to cover more of the story as well as a few other things I missed in this video. Thanks for watching!

Earlier this year-ish (?) there was some kerfuffle with the bigger youtubers that YT is hell bent of not showing or recommending their stuff. I really don't know what's that about, in a span of week I've found Painticus, Melonman and Sandy of Cthulhu. You guys are easily the most enjoyable content I've found, right there with Civvie11 and Grim Beard.

They probably have the typical Chernobyl image about nuclear technology that's why. By the way this reload animation is an exact copy of Crysis 2's reload

It was a good idea to get unreasonably high on energy drinks before watching. And kudos for defending nuclear power for a bit. People have these silly misconceptions that stem from pop culture when it comes to what's clean energy and what isn't. Many of them would tell you that hydro is preferable to nuclear, which is so inverse. What they don't understand is that, much like this game, the world works in counter-intuitive ways. More often than not. Casual guesswork is merely ooga booga. Also, dune surfing is a great mechanic, appreciated it. But I wouldn't trust the guy's resume. Aside from some people just being pathological liars, game testers tend to make these lists of games they were "working on" without mentioning that they weren't part of the actual development. But who knows? I don't. Too many titles though.
