I think this 3 parts movie is one movie only but putting in different pièces. The first one can be seen as the opening kill BUT it's looonger The second one is the main storyline for the movie, and the last one will be the third act. If the scene in the car is true, then you've killed the whole franchise. The whole point and what makes the story scary with The Strangers films is we don't know who or what the killers look like. The intentions are unknown. Showing what they look like and then start peeling back the layers of the killers just takes away the fear of the unknown.

The first chapter was terrible BUT I love Madelaine Petsch so I’m anxious to see if she is given something better to do in this one. I still think that the Swimming Pool sequence in “Prey at Night” with Bailee Madison, is the best sequence in this entire franchise so…despite my strong dislike for Chapter 1, I’m cautiously optimistic for what’s to come.
