It’s great being able to see two versions of the same prospecting by watching both yours and Gadzee’s videos 👍🏼 Shame the gold gods weren’t kinder, but as you say - that’s what prospecting is all about…

Hey Chris, I too prospect in an area that was hydraulicly mined. I have a suggestion for you. When you find a bit with the metal detector, take a test pan or two from that spot. The process of hydraulicing the dirt off the bedrock can concentrate the gold in cracks in the bedrock, much like a river, but on steroids. I found a little picker with my metal detector, then worked out the one foot long crack it was in and found over a quarter ounce. That kind of crack is very rare, but it happens.

Do you ever consider taking a small handvac or shop vac out to get all that dry dirt and material off the bedrock? Something I've noticed Dan Hurd do. Also... as a prospector, do you ever review the local history as far as weather events and geological events go (earthquakes) or maybe recent events that have happened, and try to prospect around areas that may have shifted or changed? Love the channel Chris, RIP Griz

Chris, firstly good video. Secondly, I went for a walk through a paddock yesty, found some conglomerate that washed down from the floods, crushed it and it had 12 specs for 1 handful of dirt. Great but does this mean there would be more upstream wherever it dislodged from ? ( hill behind my house is a huge goldmine) I'm wondering if it would also still be shedding gold. Hmm maybe it's time I join your patron, so many questions Haha.

Chris, 2 spectacular pickers in your pan at the end, which surprised me at their size. Wow! Lucky you! About FB's ad withdrawal, it's outrageous! Why not tell you something is 'wrong' and give you a date to fix it? There are many people who rely on KZbin for their sole income. They don't have savings or 'jobs.' Isn't there a way for everyone to let FB know how mad we are and request an immediate 'refund' to you?? No wonder I rarely get on FB! I still get hounded by the same ads I hate and the ones I blocked because they were offensive! Just plain ignored. Right. Regardless, I pray for you and wish you much gold in you pans my friend! Blessings from Alabama ❤️
