The String Cheese Incident at SweetWater 420 Festival Thursday 4/28/22

I saw SCI at the Midtown Music Festival during the first week of May 2000! I watched them while waiting for my beloved girlfriend, who had to go and get on the train (she forgot her ticket on the dashboard of our car!) and go back to our remotely parked car across town- right after we both dosed! After she left, I kind of went into a panic...How was she going to find me amongst a half million people, in the midst of the half dozen, or so of stages? The place was packed! I had to focus on the great set SCI was laying down, to calm down- and they were fantastic! After they finished, I wandered out into the middle of the park, closed my eyes, and focused on her. When I opened my eyes I scanned around- and not 25 feet away, there she was! It was a miracle- built on the good vibes of that show! It was so moving, that I held her tight and wept and laughed at the same time! It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I've seen SCI about a dozen times in my life- but that show, on that day, saved my life! Thank you! Absolutely true story! I'll always love you, my babe, Doreen! "DRE & DRW 2000" 😘
