Yeah both of the new evolutions are great. Though the play is still get a high level/upgraded bible and some projectiles and its an instant win. Its nice to have a bible replacement in the garlic upgrade but if you dont get the garlic early its not worth going for. Getting the new double bird + unholy vespers tho... i straight up afked the last 5 mins to see if id win and i did xD

@@geebster. Since the update there is no "the play is..." anymore, or at least not as much as before, and the game's actually decently winnable on both maps now. Or at least it feels like that. Before the update it took a ludicrously lucky run to get even a normal mode forest win, now I can get hyper mode forest wins even when varying it up a lot with weapon choice (instead of just going for safe and strong options).

IMO hyper mode is easier than normal mode because of all the XP you get. It took so many runs to unlock hyper forest, but it's rare to lose while playing with hyper (this might actually be because I got all the unlocks tho, idk).

Yeah but they only emit those emissions in the act of providing goods and services. If they did things in a more green way, prices would go up. Consumers would just buy stuff from their competitors that didn't do stuff in a green way. And then it would be a different 100 companies polluting, but the same consumers. That's why you need government regulation, so that everyone has to produce stuff the green way raising prices across the board.

A company wants the share price to be high for the sake of issuing new shares instead of loans sometimes. Also shareholders elect the board and the board can fire the CEO. So the CEO has invested interest to make the board of directors happy to keep his job. The CEO in turn can fire other people so lots of people get fired if the board of directors is unhappy. The board of directors are representatives of the shareholders so they're happy when the share price is up. If the majority of shareholders is big enough they can also initiate the sale of company assets if they underperform. There's also the possibility if peloton falls below book value some other firm can start a hostile takeover and sell all the assets basically liquidating the company. That's what a lot of activist investors do.

Yeah Wizard of Legend was a game that had way too many things to control outside of the runs for it to be interesting. I fell into the same boat. It starts off pretty cool, but then you just find the best spells to use and make that your default load out. They really needed to have you go into the runs with only one randomly chosen starter spell and then have you collect a lot of random spells throughout the runs for it to be interesting. Give spells synergies with each other so every run can get powerful if the spells are used in the right way and it isn’t reliant so much on just choosing the right spells, but rather using the spells you’re given the right way.

To answer your stock question, companies often liquidate shares to raise money for investment. Also, companies can offer shares to aid in acquisitions. So the more valuable the stock the less cash they need to have on hand. Like Microsoft doesn’t have 60bil cash on hand so part of their acquisition of COD will be shares of Microsoft.

Microsoft has that kind of money in cash and they will issue no shares for the activision-blizzard acquisition. Microsoft also makes that kind of money each year in pure profits.

Everyone in the company is an employee of the owner. The owner is everyone holding stock. If you perform poorly and tank the stock price, the owner loses money. The owner doesn’t like losing money. The owner can and will fire you if you keep messing with the money (often the shareholders are represented by a board of directors). So, even though a company only makes money on stock when it initially offers it to the public, maintaining price is still very necessary. And that’s beside the fact that companies can issue more stock after the IPO, they regularly buy back and resell their own stock, stock price is used by many as an indicator of overall company performance, etc.

My current record for 'most gold' on a run was, I think not coincidentally, earned on the same run as I set my 'highest level reached' record. I played as Imelda (for bonus XP gain) on Hyper Library (for extra gold and luck). I took the Crown (for even more XP), and waited until I had picked up a full loadout of equipment before picking up the Stone Mask that appears on the Library naturally, which lets you have it as a bonus item on top of the normal maximum. With that, I reached level 132 and earned 10,551 gold off that run.

Also play library because theres a gold increase passive you can pick up after you max out your passives for secret extra passive value. A company can do what's called a capital raise, where it can take reserved shares (held by the company), or magically create new shares out of its ass, and sell them on the stock market. This can dilute existing shareholders (as it adds additional supply of shares, thereby lowering the stock price), but obv. the company adds the sale of these shares to its cash balance. Nice run, btw.

@@Geth270 if you want an attractor or Diplicator with 6 evolves you kind of can. 4 Optional evolves with respective trinkets, then the two bird evolves combines into one 5th slot, this means you have a single trinket slot completely free. So you can have a strong early even with 6 evolves, it just means you have to plan miles a head and pray to RNG, because you have to pick up a trinket before the birds evolves for your 'future' weapon when the 6th slot gets unlocked by your birds evolving.

In example Garlic + Pul Whip + Hallow heart Fire Wand + Spinach King Bible + Spellbinder Ebony Pon + Normal Pon - Evolve these as fast as you can; They become '1' item. This means you have another weapon slot. Magic Wand - Empty Tome. And finally your free trinket slot that can be anything, Attractor, Duplicator, etc.

Speaking of not reheating cold food, when working night shifts there was a nearby place that made some sort of poutine with garlic potatoes, I would sometimes pick it up before my shift and leave it in the fridge to eat at lunch to be eaten cold. It also effects how a company can seek more funding by offering more shares, but that's a pretty uncommon way to get more funding. Before CEO compensation was based on share price, often times management would do stuff irrespective of the effect on the share price. It's one of the reasons why boards started tying management compensation packages to the stock price (or just making their salaries shares directly).

To answer nl’s question about the why companies want their stock prices to rise is about who employees the CEO. The ceo is employed by board of directors who all own a big stake in the company. So if the board of directors sees that ceo is keeping the price of a share down or not as high as they would like they have to right to fire the ceo. So it is in ceo’s best interest that the stakeholders are satisfy by a high stock price or high dividends as the stakeholders wealth rises immensely with the rise of a stock or high dividends. All of that being said basically the ceo can get fired if he doesn’t keep the share price high over a period of time.

NL, you can already play on the Switch using your Xbox or PlayStation controller. There's a USB receiver called Switch Up by Collective Minds and it's pretty sick. It feels like I'm cheating just by playing on a controller that isn't, well, you know. It will naturally accept the PS4 signal, but you have to get a separate dongle for an Xbox controller to temporarily plug into the Switch Up so it can understand the Xbox's controller signal. Idk why it's that way, it just is. Price point Switch Up: $25 USD Xbox wireless dongle: $25 USD 50 bucks to use your nice Xbox controller on the Switch. Only 25 for a DS4.

Sears was the worst place I ever worked. I was a salesman on commission, as most of us were. They gave us these ipads/phones to check people out with. Come black friday, we were told we absolutely cannot check people out on the register. Had to be on the phone. The company cares about their share/stock price, because it makes the shareholders mad, *and the shareholders are the top boss*! Shareholders vote for the board of directors, and the board of directors delegates power to CEO etc etc. So if a CEO allows the share price to drop, they might get fired by the board, because the board represents the shareholders. - Also, from a sort of reverse perspective, the stock price is basically the consensus estimate of the company's future earning potential. So you worry if the general public thinks that your company has less earning potential, because there is a decent chance they are correct.

The company has an interest in a high stock price and a high market cap to get cheaper money and if they ever gonna issue more stocks they would get more money.

Comes down to credit and all the leverage around how much they hold. Stock is a loan from share holders at the end of the day and the market they make is the companies money market to borrow against. They borrow on a corporate basis through issuance and collateral. Plus employees and other stock holders can collateralize their shares and hold while using day to day cash. Everyone wins when price goes up but if price tanks it can put the company in a bad place as share holders ask for there money back and banks make margin calls.
