Not alone I was hoping the movie would lean into her going to Fred! Like maybe she starts something with Fred and forgets about Sue then Sue goes all crazy like “I need her to stay alive” and Elizabeth has to fight “herself” and it ends with her killing Sue and going on happily with Fred as she accepts that yeah she may be older but like Fred said, she’s still beautiful but sadly there are people who can’t move past that and sadly what Elizabeth actually did is sadly realistic

Flowers to Demi Moore for accepting the role. There’s truth to this movie and how Hollywood treats actresses as they age. As a now older actress herself that was a household name in the 90s, it takes a lot of balls for Demi to accept the role like this. I think she probably went through her own personal journey of acceptance and now is confident in this stage in her life. Bravo Demi for doing a horror movie with the underlying message to love yourself regardless of your age. You’ll never be as young as you are RIGHT NOW age; 22, 35,50, 65, etc. On another note, Elizabeth should have stopped when she saw her hand 🤚 That would have been enough for me and I would just worn a gloves for the rest of my life. 😂

I actually thought this would be another sci-fi horror about a drug that will make you younger but with bad side effects. But whoa ! 😮 I didn't expect the plot twist. And even the somewhat weird ending. ⭐ However, if that fried chicken and shrimp was really part of it's marketing strategy, it's working ! I want to eat fried chicken and shrimps after this recap. 😅

Reminds me of "Altered States" with William Hurt in 1980.

Actually it would have been fine if she would just follow the rules and didn't get greedy

That DOES sound like a good story! Didn't want to watch it (not sure why), this recap is perfect, thanks.

Probably one of the craziest body horror movies to date. The ending is insanely tragic and a mega cautionary tale.

Bravo to the creators who chose to use brightly lit sets for some of the most gruesome scenes. A lot of courage from the makeup effects crew to display their work under the most demanding conditions.

That's really irony that Demi received her first Golden Globe Award for this movie after she tried to give up her carrier.

Basically this film was made for aging hollywood actresses who were the hottest women in their industry in the early 2000s.

Time comes to us all when we must accept our elderly form, the youth we have is limited time so we must make the best of it before we enter our last phase. I think it is still natural for human to seek form or another of immortality whetever it is by leaving some legacy to be remembered or be aspiring artist creating the best of examples human imagination can display, but we cannot get it by physical eternal youth.

The thing that wasn't super clear, but I think is true, is that Elizabeth and Sue don't share memories, right? So...who cares? One doesn't wake up and know what happened the previous seven days, so isn't it just like someone else being more successful than you, and you taking super long naps?
