I purchased the SpeedStar and I love it! The main reason was for the headshape - it is nice and round (and large - 2XL, to be exact), so all you guys out there with oval and intermediate oval ... you got plenty of options. Not so many for us with globe-shaped noggins. The build quality is superb. I've owned lower tier brands (Bell, HJC, speed and strength, Torc) but this is by far the best so far. I dropped an Cardo Bluetooth in and - voila! - awesome tunes and phone capability. I'm ready to tour! One gripe: it is loud. That's what happens when you have great venting, I guess?

they don’t make much round shape helmets. Does this speedstar has pad around the ears, how is the padding? nice and soft?

@@bobit8742 - for me, yes. The speakers that I placed in do jut out just a bit. Not painful, but you know they are there. The problem I have found is that *every* head (including ears) is different. If you can find a show room and try one on, do it. Happy trails, friend!

i just got my speedstar. This helmet is loud because when you close the visor. It is not seal, you can see gaps around the top and side. Just get a piece of paper and stick through it, you’ll see it pass through😅

@@bobit8742 How does the helmet "feel" in terms of head shape? Do you feel hot spots on the front/back or sides? I know it's not a perfect helmet, but it's half the price of "premium" brands.

@@eltigrechino3390 the helmet feel fine, no hot spot for me. It the only helmet that fit me, other brands don’t have round oval 🤷‍♂️. Everything feel solid beside the wind noise as you mentioned. If you look at the taps on both sides where the detent, it should sit flush with the helmet but this helmet raised up therefore create a small gap.

Getting originals are tough here in Bangladesh , You can try different products out from pages like BD Roadies, IgniteBangladesh, Revzilla bd etc , such shops tend to keep different products but they too are good and well constructed. You can import good certified accessories from AliExpress or Amazon too.
