You cant talk about collagen without mentioning glycine. Glycine is the rate limiting factor for collagen production in the body. Many people can supplement with glycine and not need supplemental collagen at all. Our ancestors consumed as much as 20 grams per day of glycine. Diets of today arent anywhere near that much. I take 9 to 15 grams per day and have noticed a huge different in how I look and feel.

I eat meat daily. No need for a collagen supplement.

This is when collagen would be helpful to balance out all the BCAAs you are getting
@sophie46362 ай бұрын
Actually that's not true, if you eat meat you need to also eat organs to balance it. You need the connective tissue. Collagen is a good enough modern alternative.

Could mark not make the bone broth himself rather than blame it on his wife? It’s very easy to do and I’d imagine is a better natural source than something processed. I’m sure his daughter would show him how 😉

The biggest problem with boiling bones is the smell. His lovely young wife would be turned off.
