i test rode this bike at my local bike week back in April; i was so impressed with this motorcycle. So fast and handled well.

I bought a 2010 C-109R (heavier crank/flywheel and smaller intake cam) back in Feb. Had pipes, and intake done, but rode like a pig. A dyno tune later, electronic limiters in 1st-3rd gears removed, 110hp@6700 and 120lb-ft at 3400 at the tyre was the result. Weighing in at a hefty 1102lb with me on it it'll smoke that 240 rear on the roll in 2nd, and with very soft launches will still run mid 13's at 108mph. As for gearing, it's incredibly long gearing. First will pull past 60, and my C hit the limiter at 134mph in 3rd. Bang for buck, for me the 109's are hard to beat. Suzuki wanted a big twin, so they used GSX-R tech, let their engineers play. The 109's were the result, and I believe the M has been in production since '04 with very few changes, and the C had a short stint from '08-'13. If you haven't already, I hope you do the 2nd video on it and actually give it a proper twist of the wrist, cause it looked like you were just tickling it in this video.

It needs a Moore mafia tune really bad!! Those exhaust pipes with the off throttle popping shows it's not tuned for that exhaust.

I'm in my 60s and I've been riding sportsbikes since 1986. My latest is a 2010 Kawasaki ZX14 which I've had since new. Love it. But lately my knees, not so much. Thinking of a cruiser or sports tourer switch, can't make up my mind.

i love my 109, rebuilt the engine and transmission, would really like to swap my exhaust out though, those short pipes look nice, can't make a decision

How do you compare the M 109 to the Honda VTX 1800? If you have the experience of riding one

never rode a VTX. but i do know there is no comparison in power between the 2 cruisers...The M109 would absolutely leave a VTX Behind.

@@nevTk-oe9ud i sell motorcycle gear for a living, and the wife is an operating room nurse. so i've def seen alot of things that'd make me never wanna ride without one
