Love these stitches 🪡 that you work into spaces instead of stitches and it's just a 2 row repeat. Doesn't get much better than that 😉😊 thank you ❤

I watched this video and like the pattern. then read all the comments and seem to agree with two of the viewers commenting, that your photo of the yellow example is slightly different than the gray stitched sample.. is there loop stitching on the single crochet rows ? I am somewhat a beginner, so please advise me if you agree the stitching is somewhat varied between the two works.If so, please let me know how to crochet like the yellow sample. I want to do a baby blanket, but it is basically pending. thanks so much and also, I cannot get enough of your amazing talent. Your new Etsy shop will be a showstopper and success!
@cindyfuller63816 жыл бұрын
So many comments so I am not sure if someone posted this but the extra 3 is the first double crochet of row one. If you are going to start with a single crochet row first just add 1. Then you would do the double crochet row as normal.

This is really a pretty stitch. Do you have an etsy shop or someplace where you have written instructions on the patterns. There have been a few, including this one, that I would really love to do the pattern and I'm not fast enough to work along with you or write out what your doing. Luv your work.

Thank you so much for teaching us this stitch. I love that you are so thorough, and make sure that we understand how to do successive rows! Do you think that a foundation SC row would work instead of a chain, or would that be too bulky at the increases?
@tonyamcb4 жыл бұрын
Did you try it? I hate starting chains.
@RD9_Designs4 жыл бұрын
@@tonyamcb Not yet, I have a list several miles long of things I want to try next, lol... My curiosity about new (to me) stitches gets way ahead of my ability to actually use them in a project. But yes, as you said, I am not a fan of starting chains! I think I was probably right about it being too bulky at the increases on the next row.

I spent all of yesterday working on this pattern. It is now obvious that the pattern that you show in the opening of the video is not the same one you are making in the tutorial. The yellow pattern has an obvious chain pattern going through the valleys and peaks. What you are making has no such pattern.
@pattymayes33262 жыл бұрын
I noticed the same difference. Did he ever answer or explain how to do the yellow one?
@bearteddy19926 жыл бұрын
The stitch pattern between the yellow and gray looks different. on the yellow one the row between the fan and space looks raised but it doesn't look that way on the gray one. did you do something different on each?
