The best thing about this channel is that there are no mistakes in the pattern. I have used patterns from other channels only to get half way through and there are so many mistakes I can’t complete the project. I was trying to make a semicircle pineapple pattern. Had to stop after 19 rows and take it all apart. Thank you.

Thank you! I just found your videos! You are a great teacher!!! & So hilarious!!! It is awesome to see a man crochet & share what he's learned! You also bring back beautiful memories! A dear friend of my family in the 70's. "HE" was an ICU nurse at night in our local VA hospital. He learned to crochet to do something as he watched over his patients. He made small lapghans & then would give them to his patients!! I was a teenager then & didn't crochet. I learned about 39 yrs ago. Doug was an inspiration to me. I donate to those in need or to someone that needs a lift! Thank you! Be blessed!

Oh you are wonderful. I just began nursing school so when I take a break, I wanted something mindless to let my brain relax from all the memorization. We found two big caron cakes at a Goodwill store that happen to match my dining room. I have a papasan and wanted to make a round blanket for it. Thank you for the pattern, I was able to tweak it a bit for an idea I had. The first thing I tweaked was stacking the single crochets in the back loops only to make a ribbed effect. The second tweak I did was in the third single crochet stack, the last stitch I did I made it into a treble crochet stitch and did a front loop stitch to the first single crochet row. It’s going to be a nice pattern once I see how it grows.

Adri Prejna hey saw your comment on the nautilus blanket video. Do you know with each round does it increase how many stitches.. like ch 4 then 2 single crochet then the next stitches leaving the last empty. I just started it and after row 5;of the video I have 5 stitches to go into instead of the four she shows. So does each time around increase this? Does this make sense? Lol
@dalordofcheese
@dalordofcheese 6 жыл бұрын
After the chain 4 then 2 single crochet the. The single crochet in the next holes. Do these holes increase with every round? Like in video it shows on row five that you have four holes so crochet 3 and skip the fourth. So in round six would there be 5 holes? Four you crochet In And skip the fifth?
@Mamooshka220
@Mamooshka220 6 жыл бұрын
@@dalordofcheese Hi James... My apologies! I should check my email more often. Yes! I don't understand the physics of how it works, but the pattern increases on itself. No need to count, just make sure you're skipping that last stitch before the chain 4 from the previous round... And don't forget to chain 4 to start a new section. I made that mistake and had to frog an entire round (it's gotten pretty big now). Good luck!

Wow!!! Love this! Can't wait to try making this! I'm still working on the Virus Meets Granny blanket (I'm a slow crocheter!), but as soon it's done, I know what I'm doing next!!

Hi there fiber spider I'm in the process of making this now I just wanted people to know I think I'm going to turn mine over because it lays flatter and you can see more texture it also has like a puff effect which is really awesome thanks so much 😊👍👍👍
