consider building toward the Palisade Fence and Hedgehog Spikes to stop the Crocs. feeding Capac to Crocs = enlightening leaving Capac out in the Storm = en- Lightning. wondering when Pav, Jexx and crew will join in?

Crocs and Video Games get Crocs wrong. They don't do much damage. Till they deathroll you into a water table. Then you drown immediately

I'm so glad you and Capac are back playing Icarus. You guys really should focus on getting at least a water bottle and air bottle from the orbit station. Not terribly difficult to gather that much exotics. Both last for over an hour of playtime.

I’m sure you two are beyond needing leather but for anyone needing to stock up on leather you can get more if you skin animals at the taxidermy/leather working bench. It’s just a pain since you have to carry your kills back home one by one.

I Always change Q to Delete whenever it's drop item, I Rather it be a button I need to think about then just touch accidentally, besides Q is a better button for Veinmine as it's so close to walking buttons

Tell Capac to keep practicing with Javelin's, Hated them at first but was addiment to refuse doing another bow build. Javelin's honestly wreck things, they become really good with the range upgrades plus in that tech tree is melee damage resists. You cant reach out to the extremes like a bow does, but I'm more than happy to stick to a javelin/spear character for a good while

in my play through (also at ring lake) im settled in an underwater cave just below the cave to the sand zone and i'm building up the cliff for a ""safe" place turns out the bear spawns right at the passage connecting the 2 zones right above where im building... had a bear climb down into my base while building and spawn camp me... had to punch it to death, took about 1/2 a hour. the underwater cave has a gator spawn in front of it and trying to figure out how to prevent it from spawning. edit: animals walk counterclockwise around the lake so going opposite that movement prevents something from sneaking up on you. As you kill everything in front of you it respawns and walks away from you. I also have a problem with the bow drawing when trying to use it and with the lag i have from having a low-end PC the throwing knife is more reliable.

Splitsie I can confirm that they much improved the game, My potato Pc can now actually run it properly without too much problems.. My Potato PC: i5-4460 3.20GHz 16GB ram and Nvidia Geforce GT 1030 2GB and no SSD's! 😆

You should build a defensive spike wall , animals Wil kill themselves when they attack the wall. Passive gathering food and leather skins.

It's an extinct giant flightless bird that lived in New Zealand up until around the time the Maori arrived. They were about 2-3m tall and substantially larger than emus or ostriches. The dev team are based in NZ so many of the animals are Kiwi in origin

The word Survival implies self sufficiency. Depending on guides to learn, directly degrades the quality of the game content, in my opinion. Open world games have a similar feeling.

Survival is simply that, remaining alive. Doesn't matter how you do it, though there definitely is a good feeling to be had from discovery, though that's not the only good feeling to be had from such games, so I wouldn't judge someone who used guides to help them along 🙂
