An amazing 1 hour 24 minutes. A friend who is a Tapping Practitioner here in the UK encouraged me to tap for a high blood pressure issue I have. I have spent a good chunk of today doing this. Not only did the BP readings begin coming down, but at the same time I honed in on a childhood memory of when I was 6-years old and my parents were splitting up. My dad turned up and was trying to persuade me to leave with him, but I could see my mother was being torn apart by the possibility. My dad tried to pressurize me into a choice and that created great anxiety in me. But the seed that got sown that day was that no matter what choice I made, I was going to be a disappointment to one of my parents...and that just started a freight train of self worth issues and the inability to make decisions lest I make the wrong one. All of this has come out into the light through tapping today and that means I've been carrying that baggage for 59-years. KZbin serving up this documentary was pure icing on the Tapping cake. Thank you for an informative and entertaining documentary 👍🙏.

I’ve been doing tapping for about 4 or 5 months now. I’m easily sticking to my diet now, less anxiety issues, coming up and out of depression and (complex) CPTSD, and feeling more like myself again. Every day it gets better and better. Do this and you will see changes, if not immediately, at some point. Amazing what you body can do. God bless❤

Then why didn’t Jesus share this with us? He left so many unhealed. And why doesn’t god personally share this knowledge himself with all the poor people and babies dying of acute or chronic diseases? Maybe because he’s not real. It’s all human knowledge passed down and refined by just existing. Thank those people. Not god.

I got Nick Ortner's book and just started reading it. Last night I got to chapter 2 and read it through, but needed to go to bed while also desperately wanting to try it (but not having the focus to parse the text and do so.) So I googled EFT tapping and found a video demonstration by Nick on Virgin Radio UK. I have fibromyalgia and a slew of injuries from jobs that pushed me too far for about 15 years. I've had this pain in my shoulder blades, sharp, horrific and awful that no doctor, chiropractor, physical therapist could relieve at all. Any small rotation of my arms causes this pain to fire. I've basically given up any and all hope on relieving it. Then I followed the mentioned video. I focused on my shoulder blade pain. It immediately relieved from a 7 to about a 3 during this session. Then I laid in bed and breathed, and within about 5 minutes, it was gone. For the first time in.. Honestly as long as I can remember, it was actually gone. I kept rotating my shoulder blades, shocked and feeling panic at some level that it wasn't there. Something that's persisted and plagued me for so long. Not gonna lie, I had a small existential crisis and couldn't fall asleep until 1am (I usually conk out around 10-11.) It wasn't a bad oddly enough, I just felt flooded with the years I've suffered with this pain and didn't have relief when all I had to do was tap myself. So there was some anger, grief, joy, hope, a cacophony of emotion sounded off in my brain in what felt productive, albeit overwhelming. I also wonder if the tapping uncovered some trauma for me that coincides with that shoulder pain. I have both C-PTSD from childhood trauma and a lot of physical trauma, as I said, from labor jobs. I honest to God couldn't and still am struggling to believe this is real. Now I've found the documentary (so glad it's up for free on YT) and I'm moved more than I can express. I'm excited to read his book and digest it thoroughly. It's so interesting because this is coinciding with me starting EMDR with a therapist and it's SO similar in its execution (sans the meridian point tapping), at least how she does it she's very spiritual and kind hearted. I'm excited to talk to her about EFT when I see her this coming week. I've decided to pursue my deep childhood trauma with my therapist still because having the support of another human through very hard things is great, but use the EFT for my day to day PTSD responses and fibromyalgia. As I get more comfortable touching the hard childhood trauma, I'm so excited to execute EFT for that, as well. This is very long, so if you read this all, thank you! I'm a skeptic by nature and also many disappointing "fixes" that have never or barely helped my physical and mental pain. If you're a skeptic, I get it. I roll my eyes at a lot of testimonials. I rolled my eyes the entirety of chapter one of Nick's book before watching this, to be honest with you. But I'm also open to trying anything once, twice, or even five times to see if it really works. EFT worked exactly as Nick expressed it would. How this isn't being practiced in more clinics, I have no idea, but I'm excited to tell everyone I know about it.

So loved your reply and thank you for sharing your experience. I am a sceptical person too but I came across EFT some years back and used it for weight loss. I lost about about 10 kgs but then I stopped using it and I thought the weight loss was because of my calorie counting. Haven't lost any more weight after that despite of watching my calories. Recently I started EMDR and I mentioned this to my therapist. There has been a lot more research done recently on it. I am a therapist myself and I am using this with my clients for trauma release.

I learned EFT from watching this documentary 15 years ago when a friend loaned it to me. It changed my life. I had hit rock bottom and this was the very first tool I found that actually made an impact on my health and well being. This video was a starting point to help me turn my life around, I’m so incredibly grateful for it, for all the miraculous healings I’ve experienced as a result of it, and all the gifts and blossoming that happened in my life as a result. And though I have my own techniques that I’ve cultivated over the years, I still incorporate tapping into a lot of what I do. Learning EFT though this incredible documentary saved me in so many ways and I share it with those I know are ready for this level of healing - thank you ❤❤❤❤

This is the first time that I am hearing the suggestion to acknowledge your emotional pain and call it out as it is. For the longest time now, I have been afraid to do so, even admonishing myself, since it suggests I am dwelling on the negative. I forced myself to 'positively affirm' for so long and yet found myself stuck in the same place. I found this video last night, and i believe it is no coincidence. I am done with the hurt I am carrying around and the insatiable emotional hunger as a result. After trying this technique and tapping to the unfiltered truth of my situation I feel a weight lifted... after so many years I slept lightly and this morning I woke up feeling so rested. Thank you ❤

I will have no words if this works because it's been that hard for 53 years. The toxic shame and self-loathing will do nothing but perpetuate death, death within your soul first, and then slowly and painfully within the body, last. Already, this looks so promising, and I already see what I believe to be, results. You better believe, if I find a therapeutic source to end the kind of pain I've endured, I will scream and yell it on the highest mountain tops for others to finally get the same relief. We would be criminal if we held such good news to ourselves, and never passed it on. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing video.

Tapping is the backbone of my self-help. Was alerted by someone to check it out in 2006, bought all the material from Gary Craig and haven't looked back. Still using it. On a daily basis more or less, because after a few years the technique became so intertwined with my general approach to things, so I don't actually have to do the tapping. It's enough to just think that I should and things start moving.

What a blast. I found out about tapping from the butterfly lady. You know who I'm talking about. I had a very profound experience. I did the entire routine. The next morning when I woke up I could see what looked like a plasma bubble next to me. It looked very similar to that watery thing from the movie 'The Abyss' It was as if the energy I had released was hanging around all night, hoping that I would wake up and resume my old energetic habits. I could see it! I told the blob goodbye, I don't need you anymore, and it slowly disintegrated...

“If we did everything we could‘ everything we are capable of we would astound ourselves! “. Brad Yates said that this was a quote from Thomas Edison. It made me realise that I am like my iPad Pro. All I use it for is emails and KZbin videos and searching for information and of course tapping! But it is capable of designing a skyscraper or an aeroplane or running a live stream on a video and I don’t know how to do any of that so I am limiting it as I am limiting myself. Yet I have been tapping for over six years nearly every day but six hours at a time in emergency. I have changed and I am happier but not quite able to use my iPad with Real proficiency. I am not worried about the iPad I am more concerned about becoming myself. Namaste 💜🙏💜

"On and on the rain will sing how fragile we are." ~ Sting We humans are truly so very fragile and we have to remember that when dealing with others. You never know when your smile will save someone's life, or when a harsh word from you will confirm and deepen someone's negative beliefs. We need to heal ourselves and we also need to be aware how we impact others, to try and prevent injury. From being patient with a barista in your coffee shop, your bus driver and your cashier to having compassion for yourself and your loved ones. It's up to us. These lovely people who participated and shared their deep pain/fear are very brave and amazing. Peace to everyone.

@@tumbleweeduk7479 good morning. I followed the instructions. That's the simple answer. I did exactly what they tell you to do. It was a very basic recipe. "Even though I have this Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands, fingers, knees, feet and toes, I choose to truly and deeply accept myself". That's kind of how I started. The difference being, I talked to myself in a way that I was used to talking amongst my veteran friends. I was loud, and quite abrupt with myself. As I was tapping my language was quite blue, but I understood it. I think, because there was alot of emotion in my tapping, coupled with my faith, belief in "This has to work", it just worked. I communicated with myself for the first time, on purpose. EFT has certainly changed my life.

I have been suffering from irritable bowel syndrome for now over 3 decades. It all started when I was preparing for a very tough competitive exam in India. I took a whole lot of medication but nothing worked. Then somehow I observed that breathing in a particular way helped and I was able to concentrate better. I cleared that exam, but soon the problem returned, and practically has stayed with me all the while. I tried to breathe in that particular manner, but it didn't help. Later I came to know that it was known in Buddhism as Vipassana. I tried it, but it didn't work. A friend of mine recently introduced me to this tapping technique and it seems to be working. However, whenever I do it, I feel a very strong localized pain in the lower left area of my abdomen, as if I am coming face to face with a hidden monster. I hope to transcend it, but not sure when. Would be grateful, if anyone can share any insights or personal experiences on this. Thanks

Brad Yates. I found his channel about a week ago, one day when I'd been badly triggered & I couldn't stop crying. Tried tapping to two videos that described how I was feeling. Was able to stop crying, get to sleep. The next morning I felt so...different. So today when I couldn't stop crying, couldn't move to clean anything, felt hopeless & trapped i revisited his channel. Did a couple tapping exercises. A bit later I did the dishes. Folded the laundry. Gave the cat her tinkle tonic. The tears have stopped. I feel...oddly...more authentic somehow. Or maybe it's not odd at all. Maybe this is what being honest with myself feels like. I've already looked into why tapping was able to produce this result for me- i always have to know the why of things- & found that it's part of nature's design that we be able to self-soothe, self-heal. It's godsent.

I Love this video. Even so, I find the tapping in some of the scenes a bit aggressive. For me a gentler example may be better : D I recognize that as an empath I am more sensitive; however, for someone younger or with less experience in dealing with their anxieties , it would be more helpful to tone it down to a gentler tap as I have seen with The Ortners in their videos and website. Blessings
