I understand getting annoyed with yourself for "rambling", etc, but OMG I LOVE your rambling! You just have a natural charisma (something tells me you hate that word, haha) about you that just makes me, and I'm guessing others, listen. We know you have a wealth of knowledge which you impart to us in a very down-to-earth practical yet passionate way, and it comes across even when you tangent here and there. I’ve watched many of your vids while trying to decide which decks to begin with ... and if this journey is for me. Thank you for your offerings. They have cast a light into the dark places. I received my second deck today, a TdM deck (still deciding on my third but you make it so hard to narrow the list), and could wait to lay out the cards and begin watching this video. This was great! Ill continue the series soon. I struggle with The Hierophant the most because it brings up negative past rigid influences for me. I appreciate your take on it. I have to say my absolute least favorite card is The Lovers! I've never known why but I just don't like it in any deck I've used. I appreciate your guidance in helping me learn to accept it. I'm learning so much!!

Another great explanatory video! I have to say, coming from a Russian Orthodox background, I could never relate to the Hierophant except for the Russian Tarot of St.Petersburg. The Lovers in the RWS deck had a religious overtone I never liked either, preferring the Marseille card. I like how you are taking the cards from various decks and helping me see the meanings regardless of the deck.

Totally offtopic, but I really love the purple box RWS. I'm autistic and too vibrant/too many colours in a deck really don't work for me at all with my sensory issues. Anyway, I'm new to your channel but loving it, thanks so much for all the education, you're an awesome teacher!

please do not quote me you mentioned the Empress as Salt and I believe that is a correct alchemical correlation. I'm pretty sure I got that from the DuQuette book I mentioned in another video
