It’s no doubt the 1960s and 1970s, vocal group, the temptation made a real impact in the lives of many not only of their time but also off the generations after that. The group was formed in Detroit Michigan signed by the Motown labels. The group released a series of successful albums and singles. The vocal group sold over ten million albums over the course of their career. The temptations were the most successful group of its generation, its members include Dennis Edwards, Ali-Ollie Woodson, Elbridge Bryant, Richard Street, Ron Tyson, Damon Harris, Ricky Owens, and Theo Peoples.

I love my Temptations they are from my hometown ❤ Ala. I didn't meet Dennis Edward's until I was in my late twenties in Las Vegas he sent a drink 🍸 😳 to table and the waitress said that gentleman ordered and said give me anything that I wanted, I went over and gave him a kiss 💋 😘 my girlfriend Diana said I'm going to tell Robbie 😆 🤣 lol I this man said give me anything I want and did mention my drink was a a very expensive bottle or Champagne SMH 🍾 🙃 wow 👏 and we party 🥳 with them that was at The Tropicana,! They didn't perform they was there to see Levi and the Four Tops which was terrific I better ✋ upping names I was told over the years that I should write a book 📖 several I guess I had some wonderful days 😊 in my life and some that wasn't to good 😀 did I mention that I'm from Bham Ala. SMH 👏

The information of the history of the group was not accrate...first of all RICHARD STREET was a member er of Otis Williams and the distant and he became an employee over at Motown Records as a member of the quality control department ...and years later became The Temptations assistant on the road tours and would fill in for harmony parts of the group when someone couldn't make it to rehearsal..he was also the cousin of the Late bass singer Melvin Franklin..he later still during his employment stenture with Motown he formed the group The Monitors....Damon Harris group was called The Vandels and then he formed a group called Impact...when he later auditioned for the part to replace the late Eddie Kendricks ...Ricky Owen's had came from the Vibrations vocal group prior to joining The Temptations...not afterwords like the video stated...he was fired from the group because he froze on stage from stage fright..I have more real information to post later...because iam a Temptations fan and I don't like post about my favorite ģroup done with misinformational errors

He’s the last surviving founding member, and he’s still performing. He’s 81 years old.
