I think with the sound of the Synthesizer the R&B sound changed , And The Rising popularity of The Funk-Bands & Up Tempo R &B male, female crooners and singing groups were declining in popularity there were still some hits but not like in the early 70s. Music was rapidly changing by the late 70s . ---- Then here comes techno electronic Music by the late 70s into the 1980s but It was a great time for Music.
