I’ve been thinking (bold of me considering the logic in this movie is already out of whack), sharks need to constantly have water running through their gills to live, right? Then how are they alive both in the air, in the tornado, and in other such weird areas? Why are they so determined to kill and eat people when the only reason they eat us, is because they mistake us for seals? (we’re still food in their eyes anyways). And how are they able to home in on their targets to nab them with open mouths, when they’re in strong, uncontrollable weather? Why are there so many damn sharks on a singular coast? I know I shouldn’t be questioning the logic of Sharknado, but still. One friend of mine tried arguing that the moisture in the air goes through the gills but w- Y’know what? Never mind, I should be doing literally anything else with my time than thinking about an Asylum movie.
@HydroKestrel Жыл бұрын
We're not food in their eyes. They have no interest in us, they accidentally attack us or have a 'test bite' which means that they have a small nibble on something to see if they can eat it. Also pretty much nobody has been eaten by a shark, on the rare occasions that people are killed, it's because of bloodloss. But yes, they do sometimes mistake us for seals, but they won't carry on attacking once they realise that it's a human. Sorry for this rant, I just hate the stigma around sharks

About almost a decade ago my mother stumbled upon a shark movie. Because it was 2013 and despite it being so stupid, it had my mom's favorite actor in it ( the lead guy ). Ever since we all watched the first one, our family just couldn't stop watching. It clearly was a horrible sloppy studio money grab, but for some reason. We all enjoyed the horrible films. All up until the last one in 2018, we have never watched it and won't because we simply have gained better taste in movies.

While the Sharknado movies were pretty bad, I have to say they bring back good times for me and happen to be a small vital part of my childhood. Every summer since the first Sharknado my mom, my brother, and I would always wait for the premiers and always watch them knowing how “terrible” the acting and affects are. I remember my mom surprising us with a special snack/treat literally right before the premiers and us talking about the “lore” right after the movie and just all being together. We were always so excited for the next one. Even though these movies are “bad” I love them and I don’t care what anyone says.

im not gonna lie, this is one of my favorite movie series to watch. there's something relaxing about being able to completely turn off my brain and laugh at how bad it is. the part where the one guy shows nova his scar and says he got it from falling off a slide made me and my mom have to pause the movie to catch our breath from laughing. part of me still thinks that there's no way they weren't doing this on purpose, especially with how many movies there are. the last movie is also weirdly emotion-driven as opposed to the other ones. still awful, but more about the consequences of the main characters actions. i think. its very difficult to pick out any coherent plot in these tbh. edit at 9:45 its the mom. her acting is like that throughout the entire series is phenomenal

why are these sharks so bent on being mindless and eating everything that moves as well? Don't they only try to eat things that look like fish to them? I'm pretty sure if a real tornado of sharks happened, your more in danger of getting smacked in the head by one rather then get actively chowed down on, but I don't know I'm not a marine biologist.
