Confession: I struggle with lust and today, after 17 days, I was nearly overcome and nearly relapsed. I know for a fact that it was the Holy Spirit that helped me through. He brought a sense of calm, certainty, and absolute authority over me. I want to be the man God would have me be, freed from this sin of the flesh. And the Spirit is helping me because I’m finally giving my weaknesses to Him in His name.

Yes, the WORK afterwards is really resonating for me lately because I too came back after 10yrs on, 10yrs off. This time around the desire to SERVE and serve in GRITTY situations that many Christians by my observation are hesitant to. If you are called to it, you WILL know. But go out and serve. Be looking for ways to serve. A best friend served by engaging me consistently when I shared that I thought I was talking to God again but confused about Jesus the 2nd time around. Well, SO MUCH was cleansed in my life, SO FAST, and I LET IT scare me about losing that momentum and do you know what the Holy Spirit TOLD me to do then? SERVE. In helping and engaging others (including absolutely interest in their faith and COMMITTING to staying with them at least a LITTLE more than they stay with you on the topic. Remember folks, this doesn’t have to be too complicated - spread LOVE and be LOOKING to identify more and more places to do it. YOU do that with the Holy Spirit, but they are just observing PURE LOVE at first….but ohhhh are they curious what the hell you are ON 🥰 God pointed me to a great friend and I couldn’t help but notice the Holy Spirit acting in her ALL THE TIME. We have to do that for everyone else. Be consistent. You CAN do it - simply fall and REMAIN in love with God and talk to him ALL THE TIME and the rest comes SO DAMNED EASY

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Our God exists as a loving relationship. Woah bro! That's so...I'm crying. Can't remember the proverb of three stranded cord vs two, but it applies. I was unfortunately taught in Seminary that one should not pray to the HS using Jesus saying "he will never bring attention to himself but only to me" (paraphrase) and I just could not buy him as a person, not a force, but like a God suit that in the OT certain guys got to wear from time to time and then NT like the essence of Abba and Jesus put inside us. I've only recently developed a personal relationship with him and it's SOO vital to pray, worship, have confidence you're "abiding" in Jesus, so much! It is truly like finding a long lost best friend. Thank u so much for getting this out there.

To truly comprehend the reality of the Holy Spirit as a personhood in the Trinity God... I've been a Christian for 40+ years, and have had vague sense of the Holy Spirit, believing the reality of Him without understanding the depth, the significance...and the implications. But the fog is lifting... This is life transformative. I am likely to listen again... slowly.... meditate on each "discovery" (that has always been there)...search for myself...but I've never heard the Holy Spirit so clearly addressed. I'm definitely becoming a theology geek! How can I not be forever changed in my understanding of how to live each day? To walk by faith...not just believe but trust...pray continually...and more. So much has new meaning after hearing this! Thank you for teaching.

I wonder why the Holy Spirit is not discussed or emphasized as often as Jesus and his Father. JOHN 17:3 - And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. Perhaps Jesus made a mistake by excluding the Holy Spirit as someone Christians needed to KNOW in order to gain eternal life. JOHN 10:30 - “I and the Father are one.” Uh Oh! Guess Jesus had another lapse in memory. He forgot to include the Holy Spirit in his statement about being one with the Father. Now, I understand why the Holy Spirit is overlooked or ignored. When the person responsible for teaching Christianity fails to mention the HS as being important to know for salvation purposes and doesn’t include the Holy Spirit in his “one with the Father” statement then what should the people who follows Christ’s teachings do? Supersede Christ authority and teachings, I guess! Obviously!

I was brought up with the trinity doctrine too, but when I started to study the role of the "holy spirit" in depth, I noticed a few strange things in the scriptures. One was that The Father has a name "YHVH" The son has a name: Yeshua (often pronounced "Jesus" by people who don't remember that our Savior was a Jewish King.) But the "holy spirit" is only ever referred to in the third person: as if it was a THING. A part of Yeshua, which he could actually pass onto his friends to help them while he was gone. Another thing is that Yeshua told his disciples that he would leave HIS SPIRIT with his disciples after he returned to his Father in heaven.

Appreciate this topic. For 3 years I made the mistake of allowing the Jehovah Witnesses to visit my home -until I realized their sole purpose was to recruit members rather than to spread the word of God. Their beliefs at first seemed reasonable until they said Jesus was the Archangel Michael; that only 144,000 could receive communion and bizarrely that Jesus returned in 1914. As a Catholic, I was initially impressed with how they could quote the Bible & give an explanation. My ignorance of the Bible left me vulnerable to their false doctrine.

@@SpotterVideo It is also the "advocate" ... It surrenders its own Jesus to end society in judgment. When it appears it means it is the end of the world 🌎 and the end of times for everyone. Full judgement is unfolded at that point. Now everyone understands why the personality is so ignored because at the point of revelation everyone understands WHY it is the holy Ghost and how it got there to be the Trinity. Its basically saying God told you not to eat of the forbidden tree of life and you did, now you're going to pay for it. And become One with the cosmos as they are at the same price they paid for you. Its a never ending cycle. They pay it we pay it, and it goes on and on and on.... Every time you create life it is forced into the universal god mind and that's the price to pay to get there, hence no one wants to find out. They existed on Earth 🌎 knowing all this, and allowed the population to exponentially grow, and now that a Christ, a new one is owed, they realize the 3rd GODHEAD is worse than the Cartels, it yields to nothing, no fear, only pain and anger and hatred .... It has love, but not for everyone as they like to imagine, if your child is Christ and you're fully aware of all they done do you genuinely believe you will genuinely love all creation? No. You realize why you must not move onto another man, to force judgement and split the worlds apart, this would automatically trigger war between worlds and destruction and through that destruction the planet would understand the price for disobeying that the GODHEAD has and had to pay. They tortured the son of God ... Today it would be no difference because God is everything and everywhere and everyone and when you don't respect creation you don't know what you're doing, therefore inorder to judge humanity God literally is the one sacrificing his own child to the gruesome death out of pure spite hatred, for the sin humanity commits. If God does not condemn humanity through it's own child, they would continue forever in this manner and they exist without body form so the torture would be unimaginable. You have s body to give and die pain ends the GODHEAD has no body it is pure mind, always existing in the cosmos now you understand why, dying in the flesh means nothing, but judgment is everything to the GODHEAD? They're feared for the correct reasons.... Everyone knows it can go any direction and there is nothing humanity can do because they're the ultimate power over all. Humans are not special like they want to believe, They're simply another aspect of creation, there is infinities of life forms out there, Not all act like we do. This is the only planet that is out of order and destroys everything and doesn't respect human life nor suffering. God is also trapped to its own Creation now what would you do if you seen this unable to do anything to fix it? And you know it would continue without you? Judgement this is where infinity begins to judge humanity to stop it from going higher and higher. It levels it at Christ consciousness. The entire universe is held to that standard. Those who cannot act like it they are destroyed. Because their vibration is too low and they cannot make the switch. They're the type who would always kill others kids and cause unimaginable pain to God. This cannot be so.

This is one of my favourite scriptures. Until reading this I did not know that the love of God is confirmed to be in us through the Holy Spirit. I was aware that doing good deeds without the love of God is like a noisy gong and wasn't sure how to tell if I have that love in me. So, it was so comforting to find this.. Romans 5:3-5 "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us".

@roger mills What do you think about the miracles that followed Paul? And when Jesus revealed himself to him, before he became christian?
@ramonpilgrim66233 жыл бұрын
@Roger Mills Actually this is not true Read Acts 22:10 in Paul's (then Sauls) encounter with Christ when Jesus tells Saul that he has been persecuting him he responds to Jesus by saying " What shall I do Lord" to which Jesus responds by saying ‘Rise, and go into Damascus, and there you will be told all that is appointed for you to do.’ If you go down to verses 12-15 you will see this account written “And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well spoken of by all the Jews who lived there, came to me, and standing by me said to me, ‘Brother Saul, receive your sight.’ And at that very hour I received my sight and saw him. And he said, ‘The God of our fathers appointed you to know his will, to see the Righteous One and to hear a voice from his mouth; for you will be a witness for him to everyone of what you have seen and heard. Acts 22:12-15 ESV. Now these are the writings of Luke but this clearly illustrates Paul being chosen and appointed by God to know his will and to bear witness of such. Now in Paul's own writings to his understudy Timothy he ratifies this by stating the following Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. 2 Tim. 1:8-12 ESV
@ramonpilgrim66233 жыл бұрын
In fact in 8 of his letters to the churches he begins his address to them with the greeting of "Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ" or "Paul , called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ) and so on. In fact the word called there in the Greek, Klētos, also means and can be translated as appointed. What also Paul states in 1 Timothy 1.1 correlates directly to what was said to him by Ananias Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope, 1 Tim. 1:1 ESV. So yes Paul openly declared himself as an apostle appointed Jesus Christ.
@ramonpilgrim66233 жыл бұрын
@Roger Mills Apparently you have not read all of which I sent you in my reply. Also I would ask that you please provide evidence for the statement you made of the book of the Acts being a later fabrication. Also I would state that because a few, and I do say this in the truest sense, a few scholars doubt the historicity or the historical accuracy of the account does not mean that the entirety of Christian scholarship holds this position.

Thanks for uploading this, Mike. I've been listening to several of your teachings for a few months now and it has definitely helped me go back to the Bible, to get to know God myself. What I mean to say is that, before I only took what was preached from the pulpit, and read my Bible here and there, but now I take it and my awe of who God is continues to increase with each passing day. That passage in Romans 8 that talks about the Holy Spirit interceding for us is so beautiful. I can think of quite a few times when I am suddenly struggling with something or have a thought and then I am reminded about what scripture says. I truly believe that is the Holy Spirit bringing the truth to my mind, and that is exactly what Jesus says in the book of John on the role of the Holy Spirit. It is so wonderful, and the more I read the word, the more convicted I am of who God is and what he truly has done for us! Thanks so much for teaching and sharing with us your videos. These have really helped and encouraged me to read the word, and grow in my faith in Christ.
