partially yes, but Light's DI (AKA Directional Influence) is notoriously bad among top players. That combined with fox being pretty light, means he just dies sometimes

I think part of the reason Light doesn't have the best DI is because he's gonna die 90% of the time even with the proper DI. People tend to forget that Fox is even lighter than Pikachu. Honestly, why even try? Just let it go. 🤷‍♂️

The di line? It doesn’t show the direction you’re holding it shows the direction you’re getting sent, so you can adjust this line with either up/ down and left/ right to point it the direction you want Up scales knockbaxm up slightly Down scales it down slightly So you have to think about direction you want the move to send relative to where you have the most distance to blast zone, and then decide if up di with a combo of in/ out is worth it The di line is most relevant in kazuya because ewgf lasts so long u can change your di like 5 times Pikas often follow this line for nair loopa
