Your trousers are all fantastic, you’ve nailed the fit. I’d like to give them a go, but I’m scared of doing trousers because it waist to hip ratio is quite a big difference. I’d definitely need to do a full butt adjustment lol, plenty of junk in the trunk 😂 xx

I love the brown trousers on you.I know their larger but I love the leg width of these and the softer fabric.Your finished trousers fit you brilliantly but the leg width doesn't look wide.You have made three fab yet different trousers that all look great on you.

Oh thank you so much!! Yes I definitely think that for me at least, the fabric needs to be drapier to work with the wider leg, but that’s just my preference I think. It’s such a great pattern to be able to make different looks with! 😊

Congrats on the pants fitting journey!! They all look great, but the pop of pink was especially nice as it was a surprise change :) I wear all your other colours regularly, and never would have thought of a more feminine pink flowered trouser until I saw yours. Great trousers, you did make me scratch my head a bit, they are a wide leg trouser pattern but the camouflage ones were thin legs, then you explained the adjustment and it made sense. So nice to have a trouser pattern to fit and I love the high waist. One to try for sure.

🫣😂 ah sorry, yes it’s tricky to remember everything once I get talking, I’m pleased I remembered the width adjustment by the end of the vlog, I would hate to mislead anyone!! I was definitely trying to get the look of the trousers I’d seen online with the camouflage ones which were narrower. Yes I’m so happy with the fit around the top, love the high waist and like the option of changing the width and length with each pair. Thank you!! ☺️

@@sewsarahstyle You have got the most amazing taste in fabric, I love all the earthy tones and "sludge" colours, right up my street. Sometimes I have tried to find the fabric but to no avail!! However, I think it has been so miserable and wet for so long, it is nice to see a spring outfit! I also really like your vlogs where you don't have to wait until the next week to see the result, you talk about a plan and then a few seconds later, hey presto, there it is!!

I know this post is all about trousers but I just wanted to say I have now made 3 LB pullovers and I love them all. I made one from stretch needlecord, one from double gauze and a sleeveless one fro a stretch knit. I’m planning to make the Peppermint wide leg trousers but am very tempted by the Thea after seeing yours. Fabworks have some lovely chambray denim @ £6 per metre that I have just ordered to make them.

Ah thank you so much!! I am a size 3 waist and size 5 hips, so I guess the 4 works for both? 😂. There is a little bit of leeway towards the waist with the back darts - ie they can be adjusted if necessary, but I wanted a closer fit for the camo pair. Hope that helps 🥰
