I'm Aussie and grew up with her. I have her debut single "Locomotion" on 7" vinyl and almost everything after that. Love the 4 iconic singles from her 3rd album "Rhythm Of Love". Everyone who dropped off her after the run of those songs got back on board for "Light years" album and then got even moreso with "Fever". Her "Aphrodite" era was her next exciting era for me personally (her Aprhodite/Les Follies tour was iconic!) and her current "Disco" era is her best album since Aphrodite. My personal all time fave song of hers is the title track from her sophomore album "Enjoy Yourself". Thanks honest for introducing or reconnecting her with your subs especially the American ones who need to jump onto Spotify NOW and start streaming her current album DISCO and requesting her new single "Real Groove feat Dua Lips (Studio 2054 Remx) to their local radio stations. I remember it all so well. Her Brit Awards performance where she rose on the silver record was one of the most exciting and dramatic live performances I ever saw, certainly for an Awards show. It's interesting that you say Kylie isn't recognized more widely. That's true, she has achieved a lot, but throughout her career there has never been a presence that she really 'does' anything. Overall, she lends her body and her voice (and her sweet personality) but that is all. The art is taken care of, devised and driven by her team. That isn't a bad thing.... There are pop artists who are the same but take the credit for it. I do think it's an important factor to account for or that we don't kid ourselves that she is an artist. Kylie is the truest definition of 'pop star' there has ever been (maybe Britney too, but her path has been quite different and very sad). Great video as ever anyway. Playing the Fever album right now. You always inspire my daily playlist!

She has done a lot of things that all other pop stars are doing today. I don't understand why the U.S. was so ignorant about her music, because her impact on the music is incredible and she is really nice person in general. But maybe it's better for us in Europe, because her music probably wouldn't be as good and classy as it is.

The Fever cover is inspired by Grace Jones and her Island Life album.

The only Kylie I acknowledge 🙌🏼 After her breakthrough here in the US I still listened to her for years afterwards, although I had to go searching for her new music online since they weren’t playing her music on radio and tv here anymore.

As an Aussie we appreciate her. She’s probably our biggest selling solo artist ❤️

Kylie's best life moment was being asked in an American accent "Miss, where's the lingerie section?" lol ❤

Yay, I love whenever Kylie receives love and recognition in the states! I love Kylie’s music but I can see why she did not have consistent success in the US. Unfortunately, the US only saw Kylie as a dance act and didn’t take well her change to RnB. Plus the change to RnB with Body Language was subpar at best.
