If people think Kylie was only huge in the early 2000’s, she was even more popular years after Fever’s success. Her tours have always been on top 10 lists of fastest selling and you cannot walk into any store without hearing her music playing. Her icon status will last forever😎💯

Yeah Touring has been the gig for many artists to make money and break records. Kylie as an album and singles artist was less and less recognisable... Until Golden probably where the table started to turn a little, appealing to older Cd buying audiences and middle aged radio listeners

@@hyperballadbradx6486 Her current label BMG have done a fantastic job in promoting Kylie so far. The way they get better and better with each album campaign is extraordinary. They’ve also been pushing the idea of making Kylie a streaming artist, as her streaming numbers have been the highest they’ve ever been in recent months. She’s already an established albums artist, and fans buy albums and ALL the different versions like hotcakes. Kylie’s adapting well, and slowly are the fans.

I should be so lucky and it’s no secret charted top 50 when released as well also at a time it was harder to chart then now . So she did have initial success in USA . It was especially interesting at the time as Kylie’s success was largely thought to be based off the exposure from the tv show neighbours. But that show was not on in the USA proving there was more to her than meets the eye and silencing those very loud critics

I'm Aussie and grew up with her. I have her debut single "Locomotion" on 7" vinyl and almost everything after that. Love the 4 iconic singles from her 3rd album "Rhythm Of Love". Everyone who dropped off her after the run of those songs got back on board for "Light years" album and then got even moreso with "Fever". Her "Aphrodite" era was her next exciting era for me personally (her Aprhodite/Les Follies tour was iconic!) and her current "Disco" era is her best album since Aphrodite. My personal all time fave song of hers is the title track from her sophomore album "Enjoy Yourself". Thanks honest for introducing or reconnecting her with your subs especially the American ones who need to jump onto Spotify NOW and start streaming her current album DISCO and requesting her new single "Real Groove feat Dua Lips (Studio 2054 Remx) to their local radio stations. It's 'Never Too Late' to help Kylie break in the States with honest's and all your help.

From the very start it is a dark and brilliant album, “caught up in this house, trapped my very own self in the snare of my mind. No more space than a slither. What I'd give for deep breath inside. Where the chaos has me captive, where there's no exit sign, where fuel the stupid fire with these feelings of mine. Lured into this den, it's bitter and I want the sweetness again. A taste that I agree with. Get me past these perils and to my Eden. Where the silence is a comfort, where there is no one else, where I'll be up from under and can uncurl myself” Too Far and Love Takes Over Me are my highlights of that album

@@tobiasburrell6055 I think they are getting confused with the fact that she released it the same day as Vics first solo single and there was a chart battle scenario in the media.

I love Kylie so much! Just her vast longevity in the entertainment industry and her successful fight against breast cancer, it’s like nothing can stop her work ethic and her love for her career! Even though she’s underrated in America she is still loved by her hardcore fans!

America is of the biggest music markets in the world and how weird that if you're a superstar, you need to go to US for validations but for real. it doesn't always need to be that way. Btw, Kylie really did that.

Finally, video about Kylie. I love More, more, more as well and is one of the greatest album openings ever and I’m so sad this isn’t talked about enough. Fever is amazing, but so is X, Aphrodite (AND THAT WORLD TOUR), Disco, all of them. Kylie has always been such a tremendous woman.

Can't Get You Out Of My Head was insanely huge and it made a huge mark on the industry. I remember when I was a kid and I just started going on the internet. I didn't know the title and I didn't know the artist. All I typed in google was 'la la la song' and Can't Get You Out Of My Head popped up straight away.

I remember it all so well. Her Brit Awards performance where she rose on the silver record was one of the most exciting and dramatic live performances I ever saw, certainly for an Awards show. It's interesting that you say Kylie isn't recognized more widely. That's true, she has achieved a lot, but throughout her career there has never been a presence that she really 'does' anything. Overall, she lends her body and her voice (and her sweet personality) but that is all. The art is taken care of, devised and driven by her team. That isn't a bad thing.... There are pop artists who are the same but take the credit for it. I do think it's an important factor to account for or that we don't kid ourselves that she is an artist. Kylie is the truest definition of 'pop star' there has ever been (maybe Britney too, but her path has been quite different and very sad). Great video as ever anyway. Playing the Fever album right now. You always inspire my daily playlist!

I'm glad finally someone mentioned Kylie Minogue, she is probably the most underrated pop icon, because she wasn't as much great in the U.S. as here in Europe, Australia and N.Z. She has done a lot of things that all other pop stars are doing today. I don't understand why the U.S. was so ignorant about her music, because her impact on the music is incredible and she is really nice person in general. But maybe it's better for us in Europe, because her music probably wouldn't be as good and classy as it is.

Yay, I love whenever Kylie receives love and recognition in the states! I love Kylie’s music but I can see why she did not have consistent success in the US. Unfortunately, the US only saw Kylie as a dance act and didn’t take well her change to RnB. Plus the change to RnB with Body Language was subpar at best.
