It’s interesting that Pixie’s saying this is more like they’re reminiscing and that this show is very much to be watched after ULS. I watched ToF then ULS, so in timeline order, and it did all tally. I do think I’d have landed where Heather did in that the ending does feel a little rushed if I’d not immediately followed this with ULS. I did get the feeling I was missing something with that ending and that there’s a fan service moment that has no context until I watched ULS. Also! Am I the only one who sees a parallel with Bad Buddy? We have the boy who’s been secretly pining and the boy who realises his feelings and just goes for it. Pat and Pran? Is that you? 😂

Oooooohhhh the PatPran parallels are delicious in this show!! I'm such a sucker for the secret crush trope (all that yearning!) so it really hit the spot for me. I have to watch ToF again after watching ULS to see if I still have the same opinion about the pacing at the end. I don't think it ruined the show, but it did leave me a tad unsatisfied haha.

This show was a lesson on how to demonstrate romantic tension. So many moments, looks, touches, and dialogues with multiple meanings made for an attention holding experience even though we already know where these characters will end up in a few years time. I really hope we get series that are able to bring out similar feelings in the future. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
