The mascot is even wearing clothes with blue dye, which is a sore point because a Quaker in the time period the visage is invoking would have refused to wear blue clothes due to the tоxiс indigo used in blue clothes back then being extracted from slаvе labor and often gravely injuring and killing the slаvеs.
