It's the episode where Homer becomes a stuntman and gets shot with canon balls on stage, he ends up touring with Smashing Pumpkins. Unfortunately, they are not in this episode :(

@@homerbart5489 That was from Season 7. I can't remember the name of the episode, but he went on tour in an obvious parody of Lollapalooza. Sonic Youth, Cyrpess Hill, and Peter Frampton also appear, but the Smashing Pumpkins get the bulk of the time. They also play "Zero," but Billy Corgan's shirt has the number rather than spelling it out.
