The barcode is a sticker so it's even more perfect for the time period cause it would have been an existing product that they then put the barcode on afterwards because they were becoming popular, God I love this game

The "upgrade to premium" kit is a scam. It doesnt actually work. I gave it to a free to play friend, and apparently YOU STILL CANT TALK UNLESS YOUR ACCOUNT HAS SPENT MONEY?? which ruins the whole point of the item

@@Sans5YT Talking on tf2 is contingent on having spent money on steam. If you have spent money on steam, then you should be able to talk regardless of whether you use the kit or not. If you're a free to play player however, this would not be the case.

This item exists so you can BUY a premium account for a friend who can't spend money on the game for some reason or other. So this dude bought this thinking this is the only item that would give him a premium account. So he got what he wanted but got an useless item out of it rather than something he could actually use.

Please pin this. Upgrade to premium does infact give you premium, but, it does not give you the ability to chat on tf2 unless you have spent 5$ on steam itself. Essentially, you have the features of premium without chat capability.
