While I agree with you in part, it's not always that easy. Sometimes you have a long journey and the only way to appease the kids is by getting food etc that obviously makes a mess. Then at the end of your journey you're exhausted and just want to get everyone in the house. It's always on the to-do list to clean/tidy the car but when you have kids, it's not a priority so it doesn't get done as often as it should 🤷‍♂️

I'm a detailer and I completely agree. The excuse is always "oh I have kids sorry". 75 percent of the time the kids area is the cleanest. Maybe some cheetohs and toys in the back but up front is cigarette ash and butts, soda cans, wrappers. Your kid is not smoking a pack a day and using your passenger floor as a trash can, stop lying 😂

I hate the people in the comments making excuses for the parent. I have 4 toddlers in my car every single day and my car is clean. They don't eat food in the car unless it was something they had at pick up after school and I only allow water so if they spill it it's not a problem.

100% guarantee their house looks the same. I have 23 rentals and I see it all the time. If a person treats their car that way they treat their home the same. It absolutely disgusts me. And people wonder why rent is so high? Because us owners have to spend thousands of dollars fixing their messes.

I used to own a cleaning business, and love my steamer. Retired now (yay!) but have three detail brushes for getting into all those little nooks and crannies when I clean my house. Dollar store paint brushes work well, also, as do the microfibre cloths. I have a couple which are for glass or stainless steel only. NO sprays required other than a bit of water and voila! Spotless windows and shiny chrome! I've learned a lot watching you work, and enjoy the fact that I'm retired and have the time to watch your vids. lol .... xoxo from Vancouver Island!

When someone has a dirty car interior, they also tend to have clothes strewn all over their room, dishes piled up in the sink, filthy bathrooms, overflowing trash cans, piles of laundry on the floor in the laundry room, and so on.

Hey, you're doing a really great job! It's always fun to watch the videos. But it's always shocking how many completely trashed and dirty cars there are in Canada and the USA. I'm from Germany and have been working in the car trade for over 20 years and have bought and sold a lot of used cars in that time. In all those years, I've never come across a car like the ones you and other American detailers are constantly seeing (apart from commercial vehicles). Most German detailers wouldn't even touch the cars you do because they wouldn't be able to do it (due to a lack of experience).

@@kristinanoall Hi, don't worry. I'm not making a generalization for everyone. You never know what tragic fates lie in detail behind the individual vehicles. I just wouldn't be able to stand being in a car full of leftover food and creepy crawlies... brrr... goosebumps. We Germans are often pretty special with our cars: Great weather today on a Saturday and if you drive past a self-service car wash, it's full and people are cleaning their rims with a toothbrush 😄🤣 There's just not much for detailers to do here. If you keep things tidy, you don't have to make things tidy 😉 (but then we wouldn't have any videos to watch)

Besides what most of us have already told you about in the comments of that video and in the past related to the cleaning stuff, I would like to say that "the songs" brings me a lot to the videos. I have a playlist on Spotify with a lot of the songs that you usually use in the video. I really enjoy watching these transformations. That carpet cleaner and brush combo is awesome. Though i have noticed on occasion that even that combo can't seem to bust the stain. Before I got old, I used to clean carpets. Especially in apartments where their normal guy just told the manager to just replace the carpets. That's when they would call me. Sometimes, there would be stains that are just really hard to get out, especially the color red. Try this: instead of shampoo, fill your tank of your machine with ammonia. Spray it on the stain and let it set for about 10 min. Then, extract out the water. On the second pass, use your normal shampoo. I have never seen a stain yet that this will not get out. (Sometimes, you have to repeat the ammonia treatment before using the regular shampoo, but not that often. It's a judgment call at that point.) Also, what do you do with all the loose coins that you find floating around the vehicles?

I can't imagine how people can garbage up their cars and still drive to work and school in them every day. I would feel so dirty after getting out of the car. If people treat their cars like garbage trucks I hate to see their homes. Parents, if your kids make a mess in your car, truck, or minivan, get them to clean it up so that it is as clean as new, and to inspire them to clean up by taking away their Cell Phone or PlayStation until the job is complete, no exceptions. It might be tough parenting, but the lessons need to be learned. Children need to learn to be responsible for their actions and sometimes accidents happen but it is a life lesson that they hopefully help them in the real world as they get older, when they join the professional world of employment! Great Top 10 Mitch!

It doesn’t take much to keep a car clean. Pack in and pack out after every drive. Vacuum it once a month, and wipe the panels down with a damp towel every so often.

One thing you fail to realize is that carpet that is as filthy as these are have to be pulled. Because there’s no telling what kind of filth & liquids that are under them. And the extractor doesn’t clean anything under the carpet.

This is one of the most satisfying car detailing videos I have watched in a while. The transformations are epic 👌🏾. It still baffles me how people's cars get to that level of mess.
