For the last one, for beginners or intermediate players, you can put on the 180 flip in your setting, it's called single press air turn in accessibility so when you tap the top right of your screen (if on touch, in controller, you press LB once) you can do a 180 flip, like a halfway flip instead of constantly flipping like the joystick air roll does, it takes a lot of time and practice to master and get really good at it and do it faster but it's a really good way to get unlimited flips and get your boost back

You can do the same idea but easier with a gold shot up into the air by first popping it up a bit and then quickly gold shotting it up to increase height rather than the insanely complicated purple flick.

@@ManuMitraan now you can do it, and faster bcuz you can flip 180 degrees with a single tap in a blank space. You have to enable it in settings. Probably faster than air rolling.

Important tip: To get your boost/flip to reset you don't have to touch your wheels on the ball, just the center of your hitbox. That's very important for cars like the Scarab, where the point you have to use is just behind the front-wheels not right in the middle of the model.

Just a correction of the flip resets. You don't have to be air rolling, just upsidedown so if you use the tap to air roll once on touch you can just do that. Also, you can get the reset from further away while right side up. Correct me if I'm wrong

You can airroll by going into the settings and control customization and adding airroll as a button, and on controller, LT (flip car) can be done by going into settings, "Accessibility" and enabling "Single Press Air Turns" which will make you flip your car if you press on an empty space on the screen. Accessibility settings have some cool things in there btw you should check it out

If the ball is between me and my goal and the opponents are too, I find myself doing this a lot: I backflip over the ball and ground pinch it into my opponents for some air. They are usually using too much boost and getting offensive because I look stupid. So I launch it off my opponents with ground pinch then make a goal (if my teammate doesn't get too excited and stays on deef). I'm a gold III so it works far more often than not. I started out playing RL with a propensity for weird stuff so my unpredictable nature makes way for me to have more saves and get more goals than usual. I started a couple of weeks ago and I'm ranking up fast. I want to use Sideswipe to get better at the real thing, and I realize Sideswipe is as real as the 3D! Very fun, very challenging.

I have been doing manual flicks when I am in the air with no boost or jumps and the ball is there, I usually hit it with a musty and then face my car up. I do that so that if a defender blocks it, it will bounce off of my car AND give me a flip reset. It also keeps your car in the air longer. I will also mustyand them double tap.

if you go into air roll mid way into the kickoff and flip backwards 0.1 second before hitting it, it will always send the ball up on your enemies side. (works for me in diamond 2)

On touch, you need to only tap on the right side twice (not the jump or boost buttons) to quick flip. You also only need to be upside down to flip reset while flipping onto the ball. You can do flip reset while doing a normal flip but it's much harder, but allows you to reset your flips after flipping into the ball from much further away

Great video but you don’t actually have to touch the ball with all four wheels to do a purple shot. You don’t have to touch it at all, in fact, and the same goes for the gold shot. You just need to be right next to the ball. However, touching the ball before you do either a purple or a gold shot can give it some momentum before you shoot which will make your shot more powerful. So you don’t have to touch the ball but you will often want to.

air roll creates softer touches on the ball which can help with control but not with power. It's also very useful when trying to get flip resets like I've shown in this video. Try out air dribbling in freeplay with both air roll and no air roll to see the touch difference
