I will NEVER understand how people thought Ellen was a kind person. I mean... look at how she treatsvher guests. She says very rude things to them. I live in Mayfield,Kentucky. The tornado was an EF-5. It passed right behind the house I was staying in and obliterated the next street over,as well as all of downtown and then some. One of the people I went to high school was in the candle factory,where they were posting managers to guard the doors and threatening to fire people if they left. His name was Devon. He spent hours trapped underneath rubble. He'd told his mom and brother earlier that day that he'd had a bad feeling and was considering leaving. I didn't know him that well but I know his brother. I feel for his family every day. To have my tiny little podunk town be mentioned by my favorite reddit channel both brings me great honor and great sadness at the same time. Three Days Grace even came to our town. It's where the music video for " Lifetime" was filmed.

they also WOULD have lasted a lot longer but France never carried out the promised attack on Germany other then the so called "Phoney War" and the UK also dragged their feet. Plus nobody really expected Germany and the USSR to team up and attack both sides at once, and people really under estimated Germany's power since a ton of their rearmament was done in secret. So basically the war started with like 4x the men and tanks anyone expected fighting on more then double the front anyone expected, so no wonder it was such a short war.

@@arthas640 plan made in the 1920s means nothing, the situation in the 1939 was much different than in the 1920s, also the plan was constantly modified in the months before the war which brought chaos and caused the army to be unable to properly settle on a defense line, also the plan was downright bad because it assumed fighting on the long and undefensible border instead of retreating to better positions

This will probably be buried a bit, but about the videos @33:08 That is Scott from Kentucky Ballistics and they were two entirely different videos with 2 entirely firearms. The first was a rather classic torture test of a Barrett with safety procedures taken into account because, yeah, torture testing a .50 BMG rifle is a bit dangerous. The second was after a freak accident with a different firearm called the Serbu BFG 50. Basically what had happened is that a cartridge detonated in battery and damn near killed the guy. He wasn't even torture testing the gun, just firing it.

And it's not really his fault in the first place as the reason it exploded is because of the ammo he had (.50 SLAP round i believe) so it's the fault of the seller who put too much powder in the ammo. :/

crazy thing is Blockbuster did appear to be the front runner for awhile because before streaming took off they both offered the same service but with Blockbuster you could return the movies you ordered in the store and exchange them for movies in the store allowing you to rent more movies faster. Blockbuster didnt get into streaming though and was poorly run with way more overhead though so they lagged and it only took a couple years for Netflix to explode in popularity at Blockbusters expense. Blockbuster went from unstoppable juggernaut to death spiral over the course of like 2 or 3 years.

33:10 I actually watched this video, and the torture test had approximately no affect on the 50cal explosion. I dont remember much but he was using an old 50cal bullet that was rare but happened to be faulty.
