2:10 theyre called torpedo bulges. The new mexico class in pearl harbour took a long time to sink. Youll find them more prominant on american "standard" type battleships. Thats the BBs made before the north carolinas which are (fast battleships) which are easily identified by how long they are and thin the front is. Compared to the much wider and rounder standard type battleships.

Yeah it's fast and can throw 15 torp almost instantly. Getting ambushed by a Shimakaze is the scariest experience BB captains can expect. (Almost aced my Shimakaze thanks to torpedos).

Oh my god the Shimakaze, One of the many terrors of the Pacific with its "Long Lance" type 93 torpedoes, It escaped easily, It was one of the fastest of its kind and I think in the world! Ehh Shimakaze class isn't a Torpedo Cruiser but just a destroyer with 3×5 torpedo launchers. Still a Torpedo Cruiser could work with it's 20 tube broadside more then any other Torpedo Cruiser design. Still barring Motor Torpedo Boats the Type 1939 is probably the Best Torpedo Boat designs then followed by the Type 1924 then the near useless Chidori class an lastly the Pr.2 which was a terrible design historically.

In arcade you can spam even more torpedoes, me and my friends do this all the time. We like to ambush destroyers and bb’s with pt boats, my favorites are the s100’s and the mas, the fact that they reload the torpedoes in arcade just prolongs the fun, you should try it.

Start of the video reminded me for one battle a year ago. I wanted to spawn bomber to bomb some tanks but I didn't have enough points for big bombs. I have for torpedoes. When I got to the battle there were 3 anti air. I drop all torpedoes on them from low altitude. Torpedoes are much bigger than the tanks it was hilarious to watch. When torpedoes hit the grond they desintegrated into sparkling cloud and and do no damage at all 0. The 3 anti air were so confused from the cloud they stop shooting me. But after 7 seconds they start again and finish the job. One of the funniest memories from this game.
