Hi Oddie would you do a presentation on Australian crime gangs? The Razor Tilly was a fearsome boss, and also Pajama Girl mystery which is similar to count Von Cosel( if he was indeed a “ count”, LOL)-- and his fixation on mummy of Elena Milagro Hoyos ( because mummy of Pajama girl was kept for “ identification purposes” for some years.... So many fascinating Australian mysteries, Somerton man, Beaumont children etc... Please do more Australian crime features? Thanks you ❤️❤️😺

I'm so appreciative of this Oddy. I have a disease that unfortunately has progressed over the years, and it causes me severe pain. I'm a lot of times bed ridden because of the pain, and hearing your stories keeps my mind occupied, even if it's just for a few moments. If I've said it once ,I've said it a hundred times your narrations are so beautiful, so amazing, and so perfect that I can put myself on the streets of London with Diamond or Lilly, or in that great big house with the Papin sisters huddled together. Everyone of your narrations gives me a visceral gut feeling and I love it. So, thank you Oddy from the bottom of my heart, this Oklahoma girl can get some rest tonight, and I can't wait for your next story.

Hello Mr. 🎩 I got notified by YT and saw 4 ads. Great job as always and you have a great format with the text, such a nice way for ALL to know what's going on in the video. I worked in security jobs & caught a hefty lady who'd rolled a fur coat & had it stuck bettween her legs. Another guy close to retiring had a chichen shoved down the front of his pants. I let him go & explained to him that he'd loose his retirement if he tried it again, & he did. Another security guard caught him & you know the rest. Now a days they even have manaqins with cammras in their eyes for added security in stores. Luved the sgin 'Oddie's Coffen Nails'😉 and the old pictures, hope you might one day get that picture back, the frame was outstanding ! I need to get a double sided frame for some wonderful 'post cards' & 'coin in a card' to hang it over what will be a hand made stand to hold Oddie cups in. Back then those girls had few options in life, so they turned to crime. Shame they didn't use some ill gotten gains to start up a normal run busness or busnesses like maybe buying a Victorian home and had bed & breakfast places. Maybe their lives would have been longer and more fulfilling. What would those girls think of your video, esp. with the blinking eyes👀. Luved your cartoon pic too.😁 Thank you so much for brightening up our Sunday. It's soposed to snow today or tonight here in Maryland, with our luck it will be rain. Take care and be safe. 🤘👻💖

What a great story. You don't get to hear many tales of women's gangs. I loved it.

I love vintage photos as well. I love the 30s and 40s era. I think I am more interested in history around 1880s to 1940s. I love the fashion of the 30s and 40s and I am so fasinated by the turn around and power of women in the 40s.... Like during war time. Thank you for your time... Thank you for making these videos and sharing them. 💖

Of the many deserved compliments I have written about your channel, and another reason why I download each episode, is because of the images you use which I quite often "snapshot" and I have compiled a photo album so I can view them as I wish. Once again, Thank You.

Oddie, I agree that the photos and text work together well, here, but I never had a problem before. So I guess you’ve just made it better! Bravo. 😊 I loved the vintage photos you shared at the end of this one, and especially the sketch of the young woman at the end, in what I might add is a fantastic frame. I can understand why you wish that you hadn’t parted with it. But I’m certain that it’s out there being enjoyed by many people who hopefully appreciate it. Thank you for yet another wonderful glimpse into the past in a way that only you can do. 🥰

Thank you so much for reaching out with your kind feedback, much appreciated. Actually the owners of the picture that I had, contacted me on Twitter. They are the people who directly purchased it after I put it in auction and they still have it to this day.

@@ObsoleteOddity That’s wonderful! So you’ve got some peace of mind, knowing that the art isn’t being taken for granted. It’s awesome that they remember you and reached out. Full circle! 🥰

They told me they have been trying for years now to research the picture more and get it credited to the artist. They were happy to know that I was the person who it belonged to before them. Yes it’s funny how life is sometimes, as the saying goes - there are no coincidences.
