I ended up buying the vb wrx due to it being in my price range. But, if I had the money, I'd have the GRC, CTR, Golf R, Integra Type S... all of them! I just love cars in general.

Looks like a really fun car. Just don’t drive over 85 mph and have your warranty voided! Unfortunately in Canada the stealerships still have huge markups on the GR Corolla (we only get the base core with diffs or the Circuit). I bought a brand new manual Golf R instead for MSRP which is probably a better daily anyhow.

There's a couple of them around my area (a red one and a grey one), and they're pretty nice looking cars in person. They look like a lot of fun, and if I was single they'd make a nice daily driver. Having a wife who doesn't drive manual takes it out of the running for me, as I couldn't have it as a daily, and I want a dedicated two seat, rear-wheel-drive car for my weekend toy.

@@R0CKtheR3D I'd heard that, but personally I wouldn't want this car in an auto. I think it really deserves to have a manual due to the nature of the car. Plus, my wife wouldn't want something this rowdy, even with an auto. I'll stick with our Mazda3 Turbo hatch for the daily and my MX-5 for my weekend fun car.

looks just like mine minus the hail damage. Just did my 570mile engine break in oil change this evening. I feel like its clickbait titles for youtubers about the fires. It happen to 2 of them out of how many sold. Just the way for some of these ch to generate clicks. Also the car will limit the amount of boost until it reaches its proper temp. The auto rev match is that IMT button below the steering wheel

I love that "zonk" Raiti's Rides reference. I've definitely incorporated that word in my normal vocabulary haha. Edit: GR Corolla looks fun to drive, but IMO, a huge downgrade in terms of quality/luxury from the Golf R. These cars (Elantra N/Civic Type R/GR Corolla) are a lot more track and "fun" focused than the more mature, grown up, luxurious Golf R. Just depends on what you're looking for :)

I love the zonk haha! Great insights and I agree on the gold r being more luxurious. It also costs more. From a manual perspective the GR is a much more raw engaging track focused car. In terms of the DSG that is such a great performer. Will be interesting to see the GR that gets the auto here soon.
