The Morizo would be cool but I had to get the wife's approval and no back seats was never going to fly in Australia we get 2 variants a GTS which is like a circuit without the carbon roof and big wing but does have the torsion diffs, red brakes bonnet bulge and vents and gloss black grill, suede heated seats and leather heated steering wheel and 8 speaker JBL then there's the Morizo we're only getting 25 which I suppose as we got the GR Yaris is nothing to be upset about. But I'm happy with the GTS but it's not as raw as my turbocharged 4age 16v in a ae102 corolla SECA

I’d say get the 2024 GR Corolla Circuit Edition with the Blue Flame color which is very similar to the Grabber Blue Mustang and the Rapid blue color on your CT5-V Blackwing!

17:20 Are you using the last generation CTR in your comparison? The current generation is 315 HP and $45K. It's the price of a Circuit Edition. Nothing competes with the GR Corolla Core with PP for ~$38K.

The Morizo GR Corolla is Toyota's take on GT3 RS but for a hot hatch. I think it's pretty cool and the kind of people who would want this are serious about tracking their cars and probably don't have to taxi people about but I think it should have had the same wing as the circuit to further distinguish it or a different wing but I guess they chose the smaller wing to save even more weight. Its a real shame we don't get these here in the UK because they would sell like hotcakes imo.

Extra weld points and structural adhesive over the base, bespoke tune, forged wheels, Cup 2's and special paint. But none of that really makes up for 10k price gap to the circuit edition. What you're really paying for is owning a 1 of 200 special edition.
