I bought so many products based on his videos. I was never disappointed. I too have hypertension heart issues. You really don’t have any symptoms other than I just don’t feel good. I had a heart attack and didn’t feel it. Silent heart attack is a weird thing but real. Reports of drug use doesn’t make sense. I don’t know about that. Heart stuff is far more believable. How many of us for years are told your BP Is elevated. Then nothing more. Maybe a diet and salt and water talk. But that’s all. He was trusted by many for good reason. One of a kind.

According to Wikipedia the family said he had chronic untreated hypertension and he was scheduled for hip surgery the following day. These two things are incompatible because the pre-surgery testing would have revealed his high blood pressure and there’s no way they would do anything until it was under control.

Right, and to be honest, the products sold themselves. Really had nothing to do with Billy Mays, although he made a house hold name for himself. He also was smart for picking the right products to market which gave him more credibiility in the products. Oxyclean and Orange Glo were both bought out by procter and gamble. One of very few products that come from a infomercial to being bought out for millions.

We’re from McKees Rocks, PA, Billy’s hometown. His Mum and our family have been very close friends for decades. It is very unlikely that Billy used cocaine … He was a family man, very close to his Mum and Dad, and friends, this was just not in his upbringing, so I don’t buy into the toxicology report at all. Rest in peace, Billy. We love you ❤🙏🏻
@dianep6791Ай бұрын

Diane, I appreciate your reply. You would have to know Billy’s family the way we do. Billy was under tremendous amounts of stress. He loved what he did, and family and friends were his life. He would never harm himself. His family has a history of cardiac issues like ours. A few of his siblings passed from cardiac arrest in their 30s and 40s. Again, for us being lifelong family friends, it’s something only some of us would know for certain that he didn’t use any illicit substances.

@TheIronPict9 күн бұрын
I was definitely watching his Pitchmen show on air when he passed away. I liked the show, your typical somewhat reality TV slop but it was Billy Mays. I wanted to see what he was like that wasn't JUST a pitch. It was a curiosity, he was a staple on TV. You couldn't go a day without that pitch energy. You know, if the worst thing people have heard about him is he died from head trauma + coke, then he wasnt that bad of a guy. He just liked coke, of course that doesn't mean he DIDNT do more but if it was prevalent enough and negatively effected enough people we would've heard about it. But when adding to the medication he was taking after his HIP replacement surgery with the coke, you can see how this could've gone off the rails had he not died early. Thats not to say he wasn't taking his medication appropriately, its just those powerful painkillers can be easily abused. Sometimes accidently. Had things continued, we might've either seen him spiral or go into treatment, but it would've been quietly unless like TMZ picks it up. I've had coke, a standard line doesn't give you that Pitchmen Billy Mays energy. The movies get it wrong, its not an immediate high. Then you tilt your head back and swallow a lot to absorb it more. That stuffs already expensive and doesn't last long, which is why you typically have to be pretty rich to have this on the daily.
