Yeah, I don’t get it. I went through a very nasty divorce and have so much contempt for my ex-wife (she lied and claimed I was a drug addicted whore monger, but since I’d been on prescribed OxyContin for 5 months for back surgery, and opiates would he made hookers a waste of money), but I could never bring myself to wish anything bad to happen to the mother of my child. She’s a far better parent than I.
@JustDiane71
@JustDiane71 Жыл бұрын
Was divorce too when my daughter was 4. My ex and I always treated each other with respect, kept the bs to minimum. We did any big celebration for her (dance recitals, school events, graduation, etc) together with our new spouses. School meetings were always funny, teachers always tell us they'd wish more parents would work together more. Why be at each others throats, just hurts your children and those are the ones we all love the most. Whatever was the failure of your marriage or relationship put it aside for your child and your own self; it can make things much easier in the long run. I'm glad we both took the high road.

I've seen a lot of these cases but still, every time I think : Why are people like this? What the fuck's wrong with them? I'm far from a philanthropist but I just don't understand a mindset that disregards another's life like this, especially someone they once loved. I could only sort of understand the mindset if you did the worst kind of stuff to her first.
@jzero5461
@jzero5461 3 жыл бұрын
@@proudtobeme1ashkente Its usually an impulsive action when you feel there's no other way. In the example of the mother of my child, she had launched an all out war against me in custody court with every accusation under the sun from drug use to rape. Not only was I able to disprove these accusations easily, but I was able to prove she had knowingly fabricated them. This put her in a seriously bad position and she knew it. She obviously saw no way out other than to have me killed. I don't think she is a killer, she was just in a bad position where she could lose custody of her daughter which led to her to do something she would never do otherwise.
@proudtobeme1ashkente
@proudtobeme1ashkente 3 жыл бұрын
@@jzero5461 She's just an awful human being from what I can see. The hit job is bad enough but those accusations could have ruined your reputation if a court had found them to be true. I'm not sure how many people knew of or attended those court proceedings, but there's very often a leak. That woman sounds crazy, so who knows, she could've deluded herself into being correct about her accusations and cite the court decision as proof. And then told others about it. I'm glad your proceedings went well. And it sounds like you don't even hold that much of a grudge, which is commendable. I know I wouldn't be able to think of a person like that with anything but disgust.

You are far more understanding than most would be, but when such a thing impacts your children's spiritual and mental health, it is a selfless feat to think of them first and not try to destroy their mother, even after such a thing. Yes, it is pretty obvious she orchestrated it all. But, all they have is the word of the killer via a random inmate. Yes, it's insanely improbable the inmate could create such a fitting story about people he didn't know. But it's possible. Also, the killer could have been lying about his wife's involvement. Why? Who knows. Yes, that's improbable too. But he's a psychotic suicidal killer. Maybe he just wanted his wife to fry because she wasn't putting out. Improbable, yes. But you can't throw someone in jail for life based solely on the word of a killer via a random inmate. It really is a shame she's free, though.

I fear that she'll find out when she's young. How do you think a 14 or 15 year old would handle being told that the father she loved so much that was murdered was planned by her mother? She'd be destroyed by that thought. Not only that but all the comments from people online saying how horrible the mother is, she'd be distraught. Family members of murderers get messaged by people all the time if they can be. And shit, I hope it doesn't happen in school. Imagine all the people online or in real life bullying that kid just because her dad was murdered and she has a psycho mom.

They would struggle to get a conviction solely on hearsay from a criminal. What’s required is Terry to turn on her and unfortunately he has chosen not to because of some misguided loyalty. She would have chucked him under a bus in an instant if it was the other way around. Maybe in time he will wake up and realise this.

But never once did I think about hurting him. I wished him dead but I would never have did anything to him. I hung on to well one day they’ll be grown and this will end. All those years of hurt and anger from us both, we certainly aren’t friends, but we’ve learned to help one another when we can. It’s funny how sometimes time can heal wounds. We forget as parents it took two people to create that life and that life matters more than we do. Love is wanting what’s best for them, it isn’t about us anymore. @@clarionriveryachtclub9170 I’m so pleased to hear from someone who knew him personally. I know these KZbin channels are made for entertainment however, certain cases like Dons really hit me in a way that is significantly different from watching a video on say a serial killer. By bringing awareness to cases like his Mike is opening up the possibility of more people seeing how a truly great man was taken out by terrible people. It’s such a bittersweet feeling because on one hand the creeps who were involved receive recognition but more importantly hundreds if not thousands of people get to “meet” Don and hear about a man who seemed very happy with so little to the point of taking what little he had and sharing it with everyone who was not as fortunate. He’ll always be an inspiration and I am again very happy to see that someone he knew has been made aware of the kind words regarding Don and the wonderfully generous nature in him.

There's gotta be more to the story cause it doesn't make sense. First of all, who agrees to kill someone then kill themself? And why would Christine want her daughter's Dad dead if she loved her so much, and also why would she want her husband dead? I've met some extremely possessive moms, but that wasn't mentioned once in the investigation. Not saying Christine is innocent or her husband didn't kill Don, but I think there's more to the story than what we're getting.
@profd65

@@topspot4834 No, there doesn't need to be more to the story. It's like you assume these are normal healthy individuals, and when they're accused of doing something crazy and sick you're like "There's no way this could have happened." Your assumption is bullshit.

@@profd65 how does thinking there might be more to the story equate to me but thinking he's crazy and sick? The story makes no sense, and more times than not, even during a murder, when things don't make sense it's cause there's missing info. Was just a thought, chill out my guy. I'm not the one murdering people!

Perpetrator saying the victim was deliberately attempting to be aggravating . . . Now I see why I am addicted to this channel. Mike is a great storyteller and part of that is choosing the most telling details. On this channel, the criminals are never glorified, but rather Mike shows us the warning signs of predators. In my opinion, learning to spot evil intentions is one of the best ways to avoid falling prey (though nothing is foolproof in this life).

Seems like a lot of these murders are over custody of the kids. Now, I know I'm expecting these people to not be such morons, but how do they think this is going to work???? You kill someone and get full custody, but you're probably going to get caught and sent to prison. Therefore, you've robbed the kids (that you love sooooo much) of both parents. Brilliant.

I don't understand the mindset of "I'm gonna kill my child's other parent to have custody" like 1) You're child will be losing BOTH parents because the one that doesn't wind up dead will be in jail for the rest of their life. And 2) WHY TAKE A OBVIOUSLY LOVING PARENT AWAY FROM THE KID(S) THEY ADORE WITH ALL THEIR HEART!?
