As a ln reader, I'm honestly happy they're taking 5 episodes to cover the labyrinth. Yes it takes away from worldbuilding and the relationship between Lise and Rudy, but I don't mind as much. Thank you for this video.

If they keep at two or three chapters per Episode for the Labyrinth part it would be awesome. 5 episode left (E25 most likely Eris OVA) and there are 16 chapters in LN 12 Episode 25 HAS TO BE an Eris OVA like they did at the ending of Season 1. The goblin slayer episode was only one chapter and in Volume 9 and 10 you got one Eris chapter each. Since they already had one Person from those chapters in the anime (during badigadis arrival at the academy) its basically confirmed that the OVA will come. If they intended to skip this, they easily could have cut her out aswell. I really hope that they don't rush things in tomorrows episode. They could easly make a full episode from the talk between Rudy and Pauls party and the first floors of the dungeon. There are so many important things in that conversation that they must not cut out. They also better don't cut too many things from Roxys perspective chapter since thats very important for understanding her feelings about this whole thing.

I dunno. I like that we'll get all the action, but I hate that if the mangaka delivers on the rumors for the follow up stories then we'll be hurting for the worldbuilding that sets up teleport circle locations as monster hubs.

yea would have been nice but unfortunately when adapting this stories they simply cant adapt it page by page. It has to take account the different media on top of run time and budged especially with big number battle scenes and big monsters that look very distinct different from one another.

This is kind of sad for me. The journey in begaritt was one of my favorites because of how the tone changed from last arc to this one. You really felt how hard the begariit journey is even for strong characters like Elinalise and Rudeus. All of that grueling journey and their destination was finally meeting Paul and the gang again after such a long time. It felt worth it.

Then giant bats showed up and attacked Elinalise, a succubus appeared in the swarm of bats, Rudeus attacked the succubus away, but then gyroraptors showed up, then Garuda (giant 5 meter chickens essentially) then something bigger was coming so they had to get out of there. They did traverse at night a little still but it was super dangerous. After they passed the sandstorm barrier it probably became easy to do.

@@BQD_Central Well Since the man god said he will regret his descision, no matter wich direction he chooses its hard to tell what happns as anime only. I read the LN so i know what happens. No Spoilers ahead, just options what could happen, given on which route Rudy choses. Following options are there: Rudy stays at home and relies on Roxy and Elinalies carriyng Pauls party: 1. Zenith dies, Paul and his party retreats because they can't do it. 2. Paul and his party are failing in the labyrinth and they lose one or several people which will also ultimately lead to zenith dying. Since Rudy knows everyone in this group, except for talhand, there is a huge chance he would lose people he either likes or worships (Roxy). Rudy goes to Begaritt: 1. He eventually can save everyone and manages to get Zentih out of there, but what happens at home? There could be somethin happening to Sylphie or the baby or even to both of them. This is why Rudy was really struggeling to make the descion to go there. He couldn't forgive himself when he leaves Sylphie behind and somethng bad would happen back home. What if Ordested sudenly found out that Nanhoshi told Rudy about the Teleportation circles? Ther would be a chance that Orsted would kill everyone who knows about them to keep them a secret. That would include Sylhpie, Norn and Aisha. Maybe Nanahoshi aswell for betraying Orsted. There is also a chance that he wouldn't make it back home alive since he is a total rookie when it omes to labyrinths and some of the labyrinths are really dangerous. Soldat has warend him when the were traveling in the north. 2.Maybe everthing is going well at home and, despite having Rudy to help them, there are still bad thing happening in the Labyrinth since its dangerous, no matter how good you are. There are more things that could go wrong but i think those are the most important ones. That's what makes TP3 way worse that it may have seemed in the beginning. There were no direct consequences like in TP1 and 2. Thats what i like about this series. Some things are just not predictable and and like to think about what could happen next. The only thing i can say is enjoy the upcoming Episodes. They will be very good. man, this post got way longer then i wanted it to be :D

I really wish they not only showed the people they met, that battle, the whole thing with him killing and his feelings on it. Also more of him and Elinalise would've been great and make people love her as a character even more. And I wish they made it much more apparent that the reason he was reaching out to touch Elinalise was that he was under the effects of the succubus. I saw a bunch of comments bashing Rudy and saying "I thought you guys said he changed" when he was actually being directly affected by it. Also the lines he said in the LN were much better than "Let's get dirty" 😩.. It was still a good episode, and I am glad we're getting the Labyrinth sooner, but man we missed Soo much. I absolutely believe that if we had the same team, direction of S1, this stuff would've been all Included and also been done way better.

Like can you imagine being at a studio that was created to MAKE a specific awesome anime, and you leave to go do another one of the dozens of Idol shows. I wish the guy who did the Orsted episode did every episode of the entire series! EP 21 was AMAZING. Also Rudy still has Pervy thoughts throughout the LN as far as I can remember, but it seems like they nerfed that because of the whiners. I can't remember the last thing that was controversial. Now granted this arc is a family oriented one, but he still could've had Pervy internal monologue about Sylphie or whatever else

The one thing that bugged me was that they traveled the desert during the day. You'd think even Rudeus in his hikikomori gamer state would have read/seen that as a bad idea somewhere along the way. Not to mention Elinalise as an experienced adventurer should have known better. Definitely broke my suspension of disbelief.

Even though the anime showed how hot the desert was, at the same time it showed that he and Enealise were mostly fine and not laboring every step of the way. It’s entirely possible that travel during the night was far more dangerous in terms of monsters than their ability to handle desert heat. This very video explains that Enealise was straight up fine with the heat and Rudy was using magic to manage the heat, and could do far more in an emergency.

I think the thing about the sand wall is to imply someone or something was hiding the portal, so the monsters on that side are tougher as part of it. Though yes, having such a tough companion made things a lot easier and controlled for them.

At least i want then to make 1 eps at least its enough to give the eps 19 to breathing. And can take eps 20 full journey and not skipping the bandit. I know Vol 12 really full and not skipable. Atleast make the episde 25 in total include the part 1 So 25 EPS for S2 with OVA Eris POV Actually S1 director really amazing he can package all of that perfectly. And doesn't feel any rush at all.
