Nobody can deny her enormous contribution as a palaeontologist. We know her name, and we know she was robbed of being recognised at the time, she could have been like one of these thousands of men you speak of, it doesn't matter, but I think that anyone finding these dinosaur remains could be qualified as a pioneer, and should be recognised as such. Man or woman. Sounds more like you have a problem with women, like so many men, and let me tell you, this is unhealthy and completely unhelpful. It is so easy to hate, and so hard to love and understand. Also, sexism is not new and it still happen in the lives of many women who try to make it in men dominated fields. This era was even more sexist to women because they couldn't study in universities like men could. That made it even more difficult, so what she did is even more remarkable.
