Timeless do a lovely lightweight C + E + Ferulic for USD 24.95 and they ship internationally. (I live in Australia and have had no adverse shipping issues) They also do a lovely CoQ10 and Matrixyl 6 synthe. We can get Drunk Elephant here and I’ve tried their Vitamin C but was underwhelmed with the results. I went back to Timeless.

Hello Nadine, hello ladies! Even though I am just 20 I do punch my face with antioxidants every day. After I wash my face in the morning I go straight in with a pea size amount of The ordinary’s vitamin C 23%, the one that is gritty, that I know you recommended it to be used at night, but I find that using a smaller amount and really rubbing it in my skin and also MIXING it with The ordinary’s Ferulic and Reveratrol serum works wonders and breaks down the gritty feel in such a way that I have no problem layering on top, other serums and make up. Then I let it absorb for a little bit and I follow with a peptide serum (buffet to be more precise) and a simple moisturizer or a SPF (depending on the season). The combination of vitamin c at 23%, ferulic, resveratrol and peptides seems to work really well for me in the mornings. Maybe the ladies that follow you or even you yourself can try this combination and see if it works. Kisses! :)

Nadine I’ve really been enjoying sensora copper peptide serum. It’s available on amazon or via their own website. It’s a blend of copper, matrixyl 3000 in pure hylauronic acid. Has a really small list of ingredients that’s easy to understand. No fragrance. The pumps a little annoying but it’s a bargain I mix it with my skinoren to make the Azelaic acid play better with my other products. It’s worth checking out.

Hi Nadine! I recently read about using a water based serum in the palm of your hand and then adding several drops of oil type serum tapping them together. The apply to you face. The idea is that the water based serum soaks into the skin faster and helps deliver the oil product better and deeper. I’ve been trying this method and I do see a dramatic difference. I put my Hyaluronic Acid in the palm, add my c e ferulic, and oil. I tap them together and mix then slather on my face. They absorb and then I’m ready or not for moisturizer after waiting a minute or so. My makeup glides on my skin it is an offering to try. I am 60ish and this method is fabulous.

Brilliant information. I'm a spa therapist and it's hard trying to explain antioxidants and their effects and benefits to clients skin. I recommend Voya My little Hero serum. It is oil based and doesnt have any fragrance and smells natural. There are seaweed extracts in Voya products which have anti-inflammatory effects too and not nearly as expensive as Creme de le Mer products.

Dear Nadine, the carrier (first ingredient on the list) of both the Paula's Choice booster and the Skinceuticals ferulic is also water. So it would not be a more sophisticated carrier than the one used in the Indeed Q10 serum, in my opinion.

Nadine: I love your channel and you always have such great info. I am also a fan of skinceuticals and especially the C E Ferulic. Every time I get swayed away from it - I am always disappointed. I think it is the gold standard of antioxidants. So are you saying you use the ZO Skin Health as your moisturizer? I was going to buy the Skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore cream but am not completely in love with it. It is nice but am just not sure if I need to spend that much on a cream. So I would use the ZO Skin Health followed by SPF? Any advice would be awesome. xoxo

Good morning! I just have to say that I absolutely and totally dig you! I feel like you are honest about the total truth of skin care and products. I've recently turned 40 and totally slacked in healthy eating and a proper facial care routine over the last 2 or 3 years. I blame life hahah being a mom of 4, recently wed after 16 years with my guy, weddings are so amazing and EVERYTHING changes, moving and family and just, well, LIFE. I sort of threw the towel in, ate like trash and now my face (and energy) shows it! Common sense is that I can't buy anything that will be a total complete miracle. I have researched and read and read and read and watched many videos. I refuse to and have not spent gazillions of dollars on products. I refuse to call for the hype. I came across you in one of your girlfriends bathroom videos and I just loved you. I take your advice seriously. I've recently started .05 retinA among a couple other simple products because of you. Really, I do ramble on 😂 I apologize. I want to THANK YOU for your honesty, knowledge and recommendations! You are amazing at informing a layperson like me and making me feel like I CAN achieve my skin care goals. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

I’ve started including The Ordinary’s ALA and there is a visible difference in the a.m. It burns like hell for the first couple of minutes but it REALLY makes a difference in the appearance of my skin. Timeless is fantastic.If you are in Australia they do ship here - postage is quite a bump and the exchange rate doesn't help BUT it is still a great price and great products. I have been using their C,E, ferulic (apparently the same formula as Skinceuticals) for two years and notice the difference within days of not using it. I use there hyaluronic acid and Co Enzyme Q10 along with C,E, ferulic every day with a Paula's Choice antioxidant serum. Great combo. Does leave your skin very moist but I like a dewy look. Love Timeless. Well worth trying. - they have a thing where if you buy 2 things you get 20% pff, 3 gets 30% and 4 gets 40% (enter the code at the check, code should be on the home page). Also they often run a 'get 50% off' when you spend over US$75. It definitely a brand worth checking out.

I really like this series, delving into an ingredient and giving product options. Thank you! I’d looked at Niod’s website but hadn’t understood that survival 0 is an aox serum. The price for an ounce of spf is too much for me but the price for an aox serum that I will just use a few drops is very reasonable. I do think that using multiple types of aox is beneficial, rather than just 1 or 2. For my sensitive skin, high doses of vitamin c are often too much. You didn’t mention Paula’s Choice Resist Aox serums. They are jam packed with a range of aox. I love to travel with them since they come in a tube and pack so easily. But at 38USD I am always looking for reasonably priced alternatives. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

@@HarrisPilton789 hi there, I've only used a green tea serum from Topix/ Replenix, but it's rather up there in cost. I don't usually pay that much for anything skincare related, but there just aren't many green tea serums on the market. The reason why I like this one is that it's 90% EGCG which is the effective component in green tea and has been studied to be effective at free radical scavenging. It also has other good ingredients/ antioxidants PLUS it has a proper preservative (so it doesn't grow bacteria). If you can find this serum, try to get it at 30% off...still up there, but not as painful. :)

@NadineBaggott7 жыл бұрын
ReviveUK the daily use of acids is fine if you have breakout prone or sun damaged skin but lots fashionable because of the oil/balm cleanser trend that requires you to acid lotion to get rid of the last of the cleanser to prep your skin for water based products. If you use a rinse off cream or lotion cleanser and have balanced skin then you don’t need it. I prefer to sleep in an acid gel mask once a week to exfoliate x and yes overuse of acids on dry, sensitive and normal skins could strip the skin and irritate it
