When you’re sensitized your nervous system gets a little bit disoriented, it doesn’t know what’s a threat and what’s not a threat anymore. So what it does is that it becomes very hypersensitive and it does that because it doesn’t know what’s a threat and it doesn’t want to be wrong so it assumes EVERYTHING is a threat

I’m fully recovered… Holy crap. It was tough but I haven’t really been checking on anxiety…. The road to recovery is so topsy turvy… but I’m glad I went thru this experience… I’m no longer afraid of it… I know how to get out

Please keep doing this Shaan! This is so inspiring! I suffered from extreme anxiety after an episode of insomnia, and this is soooo true! Coping doesn't help when you are anxious 24/7. I am so frustrated that mass media convinced us to rely on pills, supplements and etc. Many of my friends are stuck in the cycle too, I really hope your philosophy will spread and become mainstream one day!

@@queenameh383 check out youtube channel of Dr. Daniel Erichsen (The Sleep Coach School), he did an interview with Shaan 2 years ago. He uses a similar approach when dealing with insomnia. I have fully recovered after having a terrible insomnia about 2 years ago without medication/supplements. Good luck, if I was able to recover, you can do to!

ive been suffering for over 30 years but the last 15months straight anixety every day not going away im just so afraid of how i feel all they keep giving me is meds i tell them they make me worse but they dont care i dont no what else to do if you can help me please

@@anxiety_recovery I did aswell on my channel, I want to see your point of you. Its crazy how we come to simular views and principles when you share the same journey. I wouldn't change a thing..having overcome anxiety and chronic symptoms is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have learned powerful tools and have woken up a thirst for life. I'm better now then I ever was before anxiety came to my life.

Don't laugh, but I've even gone to a hypnotist! I've tried it all....I'm so bad at accepting, I think it will take a long time.

I don't know why I am feeling tytness all through my chest for unknown reason ,,,coz of which I breath forcefully and I feel like my muscles are tensed up in my chest which is disturbing my daily routine,,, I am suffering from panic attack and anxiety since three years and yes nothing works for me!!! 😔😔😔

Just accept!!! He's telling you what to do. You need to start accepting. I'm not trying to come off harsh but if your doctor has ruled out everything and says its anxiety then you need to just accept and get on with your life, I was in your shoes a few months back and I still am but I'm not as bad as I was and that's because I've put accepting into my life and just getting on with things. There's literally no put watching these videos if your not going to put practice into play.. just try accepting ☺️

@@jamieperham3444 I had all the tests done during intial days and I was told I have anxiety and panic disorder,,,, but now I fear that the tests were done 3 yrs back and I m still feeling like that,,, may be now something bad will happen to me 😨😨😔😔

You literally explain it, it’s tense muscles if you’ve gone to the doctor and they said you’re fine you are. It’s hard to ignore but please know it’s anxiety

big pharma and psychiatry have been selling their pills and the "chronicity" of so-called "mental illnesses" for decades. If you like them then go flock to them and sing their praises. Don't come and harm those who want to have a full recovery from OCD and anxiety disorders
