I bought the CT4045 in March 2023 and with about 100 hours on it I could not be happier with the performance of the tractor and the local service. The only modification I have done is to put teeth on the bucket. I use it to mow about 20 acres of pasture, auger for fence posts and planting trees, box blade to level gravel and the feed lot. It's the perfect size for our little farm. No issues and no complaints. The dealer told me much of what you have presented in this video, so that makes me feel even more confident in my purchase.

I had my Bobcat Ct1025 dropped off two weeks ago. I only got it because the dealer is 3 miles down my road vs 45 mins away for Kioti. Looking back at it I wish I got the Kioti because the dealer experience was sub-par with Bobcat and so was the sales person- awesome experience with Kioti and I was in a rush. That being said, I paid $18,200 out the door for the Ct1025 with the 60" mid mower and front loader for left over 2023 inventory. The one thing I wish it had that the Kioti had is the tilt steering wheel. Other than that, it's getting all the work I need done around my 3 acres.

I think most people fear that Bobcat tractors will become like Cub Cadet tractors. At least until they’ve done it a couple of decades would I trust a brand. Brock I am going to say this again....people are going to be watching this tractor series for a long time. I have not seen someone actually use this many different brands in a comparison before. You are also very correct in pointing out the complicated relationships between different brands. This is very common in many different market segments (grills, power tools, etc). Look at the model number of the Yanmar engine in a 1025r compared to the same HP engine that's in a Yanmar tractor. There is an extra four letters at the end of the number. Why? Because JD wanted something a little different (probably in some capability) or Yanmar wouldn't sell JD the exact engine they use in their own tractor. Great job in your explanations! Video on.

That's a solid video, Brock; that said, as a consumer, my biggest concern would be their long-term support of the Daedong built machines. I don't expect them to pull the rug out from under their buyers like they did during their first foray into the market, but what will the support look like in the long run once Bobcat's priorities turn in-house? I wish they'd sent you a CT2025, though. I'd love to get your take on the capabilities of large-frame 25 horsepower machines.

My only experience on one of those category machines was my neighbors 3025E John Deere. It’s a lot like this machine. Bigger than mine. Bigger tires. Still two range. A little over a year ago, Hyundai purchased Doosan. The company is now called Hyundai Doosan Infracore. Bobcat was not included in that deal, which made them an independent company again. The Doosan name in equipment is also now obsolete as they have changed their name to Develon meaning develop onward. @wildbill23c In the early 1980s Kubota from Japan and Daedong from Korea teamed up to build what is known as the Kubota “02” series of tractors, namely the L1802, L2002, L2402, L2602 and L2802. It was a joint venture with Daedong manufacturing the transmission and Kubota providing its experience with the engine mechanics and other components. Interestingly, Daedong provided the design and fabricated the body sheet metal for these tractors which gives them their own distinctive look - no other Kubota looks like these tractors do. Despite the team effort, the “02” tractors are still largely Kubotas with exception of their transmissions which means many parts for them are still available today. Production of these tractors lasted from the early 1980s, peaked in 1983.

After owning a John Deere, Kubota, Mahindra, and Bobcat. All in the same class. I can tell you with 100% certainty, Kubota and Kioti/Bobcat are, by far, the best. The Bobcat has the edge over Kubota because it can lift heavier weight with the loader, its quieter, it turns sharper. However, the Kubota was abused and it never broke. So it also gets a nod from me. The Mahindra parts and service is beyond egregious. I can't believe they are even in business. The John Deere flat isn't as capable as the other machines. It's a whimp of a tractor. Almost so bad, its not even usable in the same class as the others. Mahindra is absolute total junk.
