He’s not a doctor. He was a doctor. Lol. Not only is he not licensed anywhere, but he also doesn’t follow evidence-based guidelines. His stances/positions are based on limited evidence that is typically a single level of evidence. Case reports and animals models are just that. Animal models. We know that people who eat less fat have fewer MACES and as opposed to those who consumer higher amounts.

It's funny because I'm a vegan and I get pushed anti-vegan articles and posts, pro-carnivore stuff, the end of veganism "news", ads and on social media, etc. and he's the carnivore guy and gets pushed vegan related news. It shows the algorithms just want to wind us all up regardless of who we are and what we think, so 29:00 made me chuckle but also think it's interesting how we're always being divided by social media or semi-united in divisive groups

It seems like cholesterol is only one of the concerns. Aren't we more concerned about the high rate of colon cancer from red meat and processed meat consumption? Edit* I think it's important to understand the studies and why they are linking cancer to red meat. It's specific to how the ingredients are prepared, cooked, and how our gut microbiota breaks down that meat (and byproducts) into the chemicals that likely lead to cancer. These studies are reasonably accurate and without a doubt a real problem for anyone consuming a carnivore diet. You can come up with endless conspiracy theories and anecdotal evidence to counter the science, but it's irrelevant and nonsensical to ignore the link to cancer. I wager anyone claiming the science is bad isn't educated enough to properly refute the science, otherwise they would do it in a scientific journal with real data and peer review.
@markharman3319 Жыл бұрын
No positive proof exists for carnivores for tmao colon cancer etc..we evolved eating red meat and would never had survived as a species if we all got colon cancer 🤔 could possibly be confounded by many other factors. Not meat ....??

High LDL (or, better yet, ApoB) is a causal factor for atherosclerosis. This is an indisputable fact. Out of an abundance of caution, even if one is lean, active and metabolically healthy, it makes sense to lower LDL through diet (e.g., by adding some carbs if one follows a low-carb diet). To assume high LDL (or ApoB) is not problematic for lean healthy people is just plain stupid.
@dragonofhatefulretribution9041 Жыл бұрын
I love when people make a statement on causality and claim it’s an indisputable fact when the claim that they’ve stupidly just made is still under vicious dispute amongst the creme-de-la-creme of the nutritional science community.. And no it absolutely does not make any sense to try and lower LDL whatsoever. The genes are responsible for that factor and they’ll do whatever they sense is necessary without the intervention of a misinformed lemming.
@iss8504 Жыл бұрын
@@dragonofhatefulretribution9041well said. It's not settled science. The study shows that ldl is just one factor. It's not causal of heart disease. But it might be a factor to consider among others.

I immediately noticed a transformation in my state of mind and the feel of my body as a whole the day I started drinking it. I packed on fat like nothing though and since it tastes so gorgeous I would not be able to stop gorging on it throughout the day-now I regularly ferment it in large jugs and drink soured raw milk in the evenings when I’m settling down just so any little amount of carbs it does have just helps me crash before bed👌🏻
