Absolutely the BEST description and advise on before and after care. I just had a comprehensive face and Neck lift in Malaysia, and it's only Day 10 but I am really happy with the result. However very little before or after care was explained so this has been so helpful to me in terms of when is safe to return to the Gym, walking etc. Many thanks for your video's if I was a rich American you would be my surgeon Dr Joe. Thank you soo much for great information. I was actually worry about caregiver. I have 18 years old son that can be my caregiver, but after your video, I doubt about that he can do that :). But, the great news, that you can provide caregiving service as well. So, if I stay in hotel myself, I will have someone who can help at least first night.

I wish I would have seen this video before my facelift..i had it done over 7 month ago and I still have numbness on my jaws and left ear.. My thightness in my throat is making me nuts.. I still feel like I have a robe around my neck..I had sagging under my chin and had to have a reversion done, and it's still very sensitive..I was told . I was getting one of the most seasoned plastic surgeons on L.I. and one of the largest groups of Plastic Surgeon..All can say is do your investergation very carefully before you are sold a bill of sale..figure if speech...stick with the Dr in this video. I wish I would have...

".. i'm a face guy..." ive been doing a bit of research and i love this statement.. i think its important to specialise .. and i'd feel a lot safer with a surgeon who did . unfortunately i'm in Australia and so far haven't found anyone who does (specialise in faces) .. really enjoying your vids though.. very informative and gives me a place to work from if.. (no WHEN) i decide to go ahead with it . At least i will know what valid and relevant questions to ask. you dont happen to know a surgeon over here to recommend do you Doc?

This is a great series and so informative. I'm 50 and I see those jowls forming. I wish I lived near there. I'm in NJ. Do people travel to have you do this surgery? What is the estimated cost of such a procedure? My eyes need a lift and I was starting to look into that but I would love to have it all done at one time. Thank you

Dr... quick question... my plastic surgeon never mentioned a drain after surgery... are some surgeons doing drains and some don’t ? I would think you would need one...I’m going to ask about this..

I only use them in specific cases, most of my patients don't need them, so your surgeon is probably on point.

Can a comprehensive face lift be done under local anesthesia? A surgeon I saw today said that nowadays (2017) it can be done

Not sure anyone would want to. It is a complex surgery and would be very difficult to do proper job by surgeon and not optimum for patient. It is very rarely done by experienced surgeons that way
