love your adventures! I recently retired after 40 years with American Airlines. Iworked the ramp, customer service, freight and even went to flt att school in 1984. Got kicked out of school for a medical reason. I worked in Dayton Ohio, Tallahassee, Miami, and retired from Ft Lauderdale. Keep up all the hard work and all my best to you and happy travels.

I subscribed to you channel because I like to see how things are on other airlines. My husband is a pilot for one of the other big carriers. Through this site I discovered your other site, The Awkward Traveler. I loved the episodes you did on the Maldives and the Seychelles and Bora Bora. Those are on our bucket list. Hubby has a year left before mandatory retirement so we will be checking those locations out.

What an exciting trip! I will definitely check out your other channel for your travel blogs. Thanks for explaining the non-rev (never knew what that meant) and how the personal travel works. Not a bad deal for you and your husband to fly to Kenya from LA for less than $100 a person! Safe travels!

Great vlog, Kelly. You and Kevin got lucky on the first two flights. Was the food on the flights good? Can't wait for your vlogs from Africa, espicaly, when you go on a safari. That is one thing i would love to do

Love, love, love the A321T. I am taking it soon. I also recognized the Admirals Club you were in. I did Flagship Business once. Too bad they are phasing out the A321T next year.

When my husband used to.work for Northwest Air. onslines we used to fly non rev with each other and our two sons. It was $10 each way in coach and $20 a person in first class. This was in the 1990's.

Do you reserve hotels in advance? Do you pay for VIP lounge membership?
@theawkwardflightattendant3 ай бұрын
@@jacquied2013 we usually don't have a hotel in advance because we're not exactly sure when we'll actually get to our destination. And we get lounges through credit cards!

@@theawkwardflightattendant I figured that. For your airline, If you were to purchase access or have the card, would you be able to use it during sits or standby? I saw a UA pilot that did that, but wondering if that was airline-specific.
